Hello Steemit! Very scared to meet you!

Honestly I'm very excited and intrigued, yet feelings of trepidation.

I've been a facebooker for quite a few years now, and also am among the people who are either tired or sick of the commercialized crap-ola that comes with it. Then I read an article on yahoo news about Steem-It! I've been hooked since 11:00 last night. Made a couple small posts trying to figure out the system, then today learned more about uploading pictures and curation. I'm very excited about it.

Who am I? Ah the old proverbial question plaguing all of mankind. We could have a real deep conversation about that, but I'll just give you guys the basics of my personality!

My first name is PJ, im 38 and know nothing of blogging!!! Time to teach this old dog a new trick, he is pretty smart after all. I really enjoy writing so why not give it a try? I grew up in a small town in Northwest Wisconsin and still reside here today! Love everything our woods up here has to offer. Hunting, fishing, beer, whisky, beer....its Wisconsin, there's a lot of beer. Among other cuisines such as cheese. Yes....I said cuisine. I have a wonderful Bride and three great kids. They range in ages from 10-14 and my princess is the youngest. Daddy's girl fo sho!! My boys are stewards of the woods as I am, we get into all kinds outdoors sports. My daughter is always sending me funny snapchats, she has a sense of humor like mine, love it!

My family own a business in this little town, one big building which includes Bar/Dining/Gas Station/Bait shop/ Convenience Store. We've had it for 16 years and mostly we found social media to be our best marketing place. I've learned a lot growing up in that business, social skills, work habits, and family value. If anybody needs any tips on running a bar I have a million for ya! My Father was a contractor most of my life, learned how to build homes with him. Could pretty much do everything from the ground up on my own by the time I was 20. I have lots of carpentry tips too!!

Traveled to quite a few foreign countries, Italy is probably my favorite so far. Stayed on the tremiti islands for a couple weeks years ago before I met my wife. My next vacation goal is to get her there someday and see it. Absolutely the most amazing place I have ever been. Maybe a little steem power will get me there!
