Winter Or Summer Is Coming

Depending on where you live, it won't be long before winter or summer is here.

Some of you can enjoy watching your plants and crops grow bigger every day, others - like me - are still trying to get the garden ready for the harsh conditions winter can bring, and/or creating and indoor garden.

This SteemIt Community Challenge allows you to share your monthly (indoor) garden/balcony updates with your fellow Steemians.

This is the seventh edition already.

You can use the links below to check out the previous editions:

Some Of Our Previous Contributors.

The participants' base is shifting, following the seasons in the different parts of the world. Last edition, we could enjoy the garden updates of

@sustainablelivin, @frejafri, @freedomwing, @exator, @aurodivys, @celinavisaez, @phoenixwren, @wildwanderer, @abitcoinskeptic, @porters, @buckaroo, @lynncoyle1 and @crazymum

I’d like to thank them all for joining, and I'd like to invite them to post a new update. I would also like to invite everyone else who is growing plants or crops - indoors or outdoors - to join and allow us to see what you've got going on.

If you haven’t joined before, feel free to start now. It’s never too late to show your fellow gardeners what's going on in your (indoor) garden/on your farm or balcony.

Show us how your plants, herbs, flowers, succulents or vegetables are doing. Share what you’ve been doing in your garden, on your farm or on your balcony. Don't forget to let us know if you are dealing with things like fungus, caterpillars, aphids, and - even more important - hów you’re dealing with those.

In short, tell us the story of your garden.

🏆 The Rewards

Your entry posts will receive a 100% upvote from my account. The price of Steem is even lower than last time, so the upvote will not be as large as before. But look at it like this: when the price of Steem will go up again, that upvote will be worth more again.

Just like in the previous edition, I'll be setting up a @steem-bounty in the comments section. Everyone who posts a valid entry will get a share of that bounty.

🏆 The Winners

Prize distribution has changed a little bit.

I’ll reward the top 2 posts with a 3 SBD prize, because the Steem price is too low.

I’ll also reward 2 randomly chosen resteemers with an @incinboost share.

If you haven't heard of @incinboost yet, you can read this post.
Basically, you can compare the system with SteemBasicIncome. The big difference is that you get back more for what you put in. In short: it's more profitable and shares are processed faster.

Prizes will be distributed once I get the winners post up, which will be after this post has reached payout. be sure to submit your entry before that time.

Grab That Camera

What are you waiting for? Grab that camera and go shoot some amazing pics of your garden, your balcony or even your indoor plants. My own garden is as good as empty, and I'm in need to see some beautiful greenery. ;0)

November gardening is still going strong. Actually, have to finish harvesting my cabbage tomorrow. Really hope there is enough time to make it before the deadline. Even if there isn't I'll still share the link, lol. Like the new pic by the way.

First of all thanks for hosting a contest.
This is my entry:
https://steemit.com/gardenjournal2018/@n1hal/my-lovely-passion-fruit-plant
The problem I face in my garden is mainly of Ants and a little of pests as well but I am not able to find solutions. Please do give me solutions if you know any on how to remove those stuff and make my plant healthier in terms of flower and fruit production.

I just planted some new plants in the front. Going for ones we can't kill as easy but i will do a post to share it.

That's always a good choice: plants that can take something. I need to make that choice when it comes to chosing plants to keep in our living room. For some reason, I can't keep them alive. Because of that, a friend of mine gave us some succulents as a gift 2 yers ago. They are low-maintenance, so the chance that they would survive in our living room was pretty big... she thought. I think they lasted for 3 months. Sometimes I forgot to water them for weeks, and some times I gave them.plenty of water (because I forgot before) and then it appeard my girlfriend had done the same a day earlier. The poor plants didn't survive... :0(

Okay so here is my post https://steemit.com/gardenjournal2018/@stever82/steemit-community-garden-journal-challenge-7-my-garden-af3eeeb6c2b5a and I also gave this a resteem sorry forgot to do that before. Thanks

¡Hola @simplymike! un saludo cordial, espero te encuentres bien, cuidate cariños y besos.
