Drinkers Review:

I really liked this IPA and it is really well made. I was really impressed with the clean flavours and hop flavour. It pours nice and clear with a light golden colour. Although there is nothing too special about the look of this beer, the real thing to remember is the smell. Beautiful citrus hop aromas that probably smell even better than it tastes. It has a subtle malty sweetness before the bitter hop kicks in which is what lingers on the palate. Overall this is a really good American IPA with full flavour and memorable hop levels. It is one of the best American IPA's I have tasted and would recommend it to anyone who likes to partake in a flavoursome beer. Go out and get yourself a six-pack and try it. You won't be disappointed.

Hop Hog is awesome - I notice they now call it a pale ale not a IPA. Nothing has changed about the recipe, but it just the shift in the craft beer community. 6 or so years ago this was considered a hop bomb IPA, no, just a (hoppy) Pale Ale, either way an amazing beer, for one of the best brewers in Australia - Feral. They never seem to brew anything bad.

Oh and if you can get your hands on any BFH - which is barrel fermented hop hog is is another step up again.

Hey, scooter77, I really enjoy this great beers from downunder. Maybe I travel next year for a month again in Adelaide and Goldcoast area.

Great review! But you also got me thinking, which country really doesn't have beer drinking ingrained in their culture except for the UAE?

I wonder if I could find this I the USA? Aussie beer except Fosters can be pretty hard to find in most places. Would love to try great craft beers from down under.

Very nice you review the Australian beers..... in two years in Australia working holiday visa unfortunately I ve never tried that beer. In your previous beer reviews "The little creature" is missed one of my favourite Australian beers.
