Little Creatures Brewing Company, Fremantle, Australia

Beer Type:

American Amber Ale

History:

Rogers Beer is produced by the Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle, Australia. The brewery started with a group of mates. All hailing from the beer scene, these guys wanted to brew an awesome, hop-driven American Pale Ale with a distinctive aroma and delicious flavour. They setup a small craft brewery in Western Australia and the rest is history. The brewery now produces 2 beers year round and a range of other seasonal beers depending on the availability of ingredients, particularly hop varieties.

Drinkers Review:

The taste of Rogers Beer depends on whether you have it on tap or from a bottle. Tap is as you’d expect, better and stronger, but it does leave for of a lingering bitter after taste on the palate. The bottle not as full a flavour but has less of an aftertaste. Overall this is a pretty great beer AND for a mid strength it has the most flavour of any I have had to date. If I want a mid strength - this is my go to beer

Rating:

3.5 out of 5 Stars

Are they still doing Hahn Ice?
I sank a few of those buggers I tell ya.

Not sure. If they are I'm not sure I am keen enough to drink one to rate??

I'll have to dwell on that one for a bit.

Yeah mate, a slab of those gave you a headache for sure!

its all about Hahn Super Dry

Rogers is a okay beer, but I'd not Australian. Little Creatures is owned by Kirin. Thus it's a Japanese beer. In fact of the list above of 'Australian Beers' only 4 are actually Australian - FIGJAM, the two Coopers and Lorry Boys. I'd like to see you support actual Australian breweries - Australian owned craft breweries. For suggestions let's go with Bridge Road, Feral, 4 Pines, Pirate Life, Two Birds and hundreds of others. Love your work, but just want you to Aussie it up a bit more.
