STREET ART IN MONTREAL 12
After being away from Montreal for two whole months, I was eager to go visit the legal wall in my neighbourhood and check out the new artworks in there. No worries, during my absence I had a friend taking photos of the artworks which have been realized there. I will share them with you in another post.
Seeing this wall covered by so many artworks made me happy for having something to share with you.
The artists used a vibrant colours for their signatures and tags as you can see in the photos below:
I was so thrilled to see that summer did not get in the way of creating art.
What do you think about this one? Do you remember the Simpsons?
I couldn't agree more with the message about the Montreal city shown in the photo below!
Every inch of this place has been used. As you can see the steps have not been spared!
These artists not only created some cool artworks but also made the garbage bins look better!
Which one of the artworks above you liked the most?

what you mean by legal wall ???
Amaizing photos!! this one is my favorite:
The "legal wall" is a wall where artists are allowed by law to paint their artworks without getting a ticket. In my city there are 4 such walls where you can see each week new artworks being created by various artists.
:o that is awesome!!!
so the previous one get erased and they paint a new ones?
They simply paint on top of them, sometimes they incorporate the older ones into the new ones. In some places of the wall you can see the thickness of the layers of spray paint that accumulated throughout the years.

It's a great city, maybe you should revisit it, thus I'd get a chance to see you in real life! ;0)
Some interesting street art there… I'll have to get over to Canada to check it out myself!
Thanks! Give me a shout wen you do! ;0)
My favorite would be the first one :) It's so cool that you have a LEGAL wall so that the artists can create without any fear :)

This is quite an art going on here! Heheh. The rubbish bin is a particular bomb! Love it!
It's the first time when it gets painted. I am sure that it won't be the last though!
