A group of Pokemon players on Steem + Discord started a Pokemon tournament. I love Pokemon and I liked the idea. Pokemon is very interesting when played competitively.

Pokemon Showdown (fan-simulator) is used to play instead of the main Pokemon series ensuring all the players can play for free. This week's tournament allows only UnderUsed Pokemon, which and the other rules took me a while to learn. Check the post and the tag #pokesteem if you're interested.

#Fiction, Urban FantasySSA6+ PARTS

To the rest of the world it seemed that she aged two years in one moment, but only she knew what happened in that frozen period. The Woman Who Moved is interesting take on 'Stopped Time' genre of stories. Read the previous parts here: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

It's a collaboration work by three steemit writers. Their style difference didn't take away anything from the enjoyment. Though I mentioned it in the last Daily I had to put my comment after reading all the six parts published until now.

This is not an easy game or for the easily frustrated. It will take you much trial and error to solve the various puzzles. However, it offers long hours of entertainment for those who like solving difficult puzzles.
-- @darth-azrael

Zork series is the most famous old text adventure. This review of the second game in series, highlights its strong points, who can enjoy it and where you could play it now. I know only few people would be interested in playing this but I want more people to know about this old gem.

#Fiction, Science Vs NatureSASad~1000wrds

Humans finally found the last forest in a world covered by desert. She and her animals feared that their forest gets the same fate as every other forest before them. It's already fall but she feared the winter would not come soon enough.

This story is so sad, and so realistic that it makes me want to cry. The title is smart too, I made analysis of it in the comments section.

#Gaming HaloAAA~600wrds

This is an entry for the ended @deadspace contest: "funny or unforgettable memory you have from playing a game"

What I like about this post is the nostalgia pouring from every line @snrm says. I never played Halo (but saw videos) so I don't know what this 'Firefight' really mean. But the sense of achievement he and his friends felt is clear here.

Honorable Mentions:

Gaming

@gameguy's "Geralt: Guest Character Actually Happening?! (SOULCALIBUR: VI)."
@joeyspector's "Shu (Nintendo Switch) | 8-Bit Eric."

Fiction

@anikekirsten's "The Hash [Block-chains - Conspiracy Writing Contest IV]"
@negativer's "The End of Imaginary Friends :: A Fantasy Short Story."
