The match yesterday did not play out as I anticipated with Genk putting up a rather uninspired performance and Anderlecht as the better team winning deserved even though they only managed to do so in a very narrow way. I'll mostly stick to taking smaller positions seeing where it goes live to maybe get in a bit deeper when seeing ideas confirmed. Today is one of those rare days with multiple matches and no pre-game bets or positions as I'm not going to force any action. I'm quite sure there will be at least a couple live-bets. These are my thoughts on all the Saturday games...
Moeskroen vs Beerschot
Moeskroen briefly had a good period but are back now with 2 losses in a row against not the best teams. They looked ok in the 1st half but overall simply weren't good enough. Beerschot also saw a good streak broken with a home 0-1 loss against Eupen who have been playing well. They now seem to be putting more effort on the defensive end and crazy high scores might become less likely. Beerschot hasn't been a good enough away team (3W-3L-1P) to back them as the clear away favorite. I'm also not sure if I trust Moeskroen for the entire match. Beerschot lost the 5 last 1st halves away while Moeskroen hasn't lost a single 1st half at home in their last 4 matches which makes my lean go toward
Moeskroen 1st Half +0.25 @ 1.85 I am not sure if the odds are actually high enough for me to take it as Moeskroen only actually won 1 of those last 4 and have a hard time to score 4 goals in total in their home matches.

Cercle Brugge vs Oostende
Oostende has been in somewhat of a dip but managed to put up a good performance against a tired struggling AA Gent. If anything after the match, it showed a big relief for the Oostende players and the overall team atmosphere looks excellent which has me put them on my list of teams to potentially back again. Cercle Brugge is in a bad period with 3 losses in a row their coach hammered on playing more solid defense. Oostende has a remarkable statistic of ending every away 1st half with a draw so far. Looking at all the lines and the odds, things just seem to have been set razor-sharp with Oostende as the small away favorite. I'm waiting for possible in-game opportunities here and am not going to force any action. My lean is on the away team given that it looks like they are better and have good team chemistry.

Kortrijk vs OH Leuven
Kortrijk broke with their bad home record in their last game at home against an out of form Oostende. Leuven has played excellent matches lately but faced poor teams (Moeskroen & Cercle). The money-making patters on Kortrijk I write about for a long time is home over / away under which is now combined a whopping 11W-2L-2P. The total line seems to be getting adjusted to this though now being set at 3.25 as OHL is a team with plenty of goals. Especially the 2nd half goals are remarkably high on both teams with both having an average well above 2 goals. Both also rank very high on late goals in their matches. Leuven is also 6-1 on at least 10 goals in their away matches. I'll be going into this match with a lot of leans but

Sint-Truiden vs Charleroi
Charleroi right now is nowhere near to where they were at the start of the season and they only managed to have an average of attempts on target of 1.75 in the last 4 matches scoring 1 goal. Important defensive midfielder Ilaimaharitra will be suspended for the next 4-5 matches which won't help to get them back on track. Stvv is also a team that has a hard time creating chances and scoring goals yet the match between them and Moeskoen (2 worst offenses) ended in a 3-2. This is another one of those matches I just rather stay away from. The under seems to be the most logical bet but I missed the boat as odds already dropped a bit as the opening line was U 2.75 @ 1.80. I don't trust either of these teams and need to see a strong performance before considering putting money in this match.
