The translation

There is slowly, but surely, coming an end to the buffer chapter. I am now at the 70% mark, or 6230 words of 8865. The translation comes a lot easier to me this time around, but there were still a few things that left me confused at times. And for some words, I wasn't quite sure whether to translate or leave it as it was. Now, usually, leaving it doesn't cause a lot of problems for the Dutch language, since we already use a lot of English words, especially when it's in the world of IT. However, there were a few sentences where I had to think and then re-think again or sometimes even leave it for a bit in order to find the right solution. There were moments when I had similar sentences, and with the second one thought of a better way to word the first one. So these are those moments when you come back to an earlier sentence and change it into a better wording. It happens, and I think it's one of those things that show that the human brain can function in different ways at different times. Just think of those times when you try to remember the name of a movie or actor, and you know it's on the tip of your tongue, but you just can't figure it out. And then, two days later, you walk in the park, see a sign with something not even remotely linked to what you were trying so hard to find a few days earlier, but somehow this reminds you of the first letters in the name of that movie, or actor. I have this all the time, and I have it when I translate too.
