The translation
This time, there was a lot of code. You'd think that it would make things easier, but it can be tricky. Some of that needs to be translated and some should remain the same. The trick is to find which is which and translate what needs to be and leave what doesn't.
I am hoping that as this project goes along, I'll get more of a feel for it, because it can be hit and miss sometimes. But I think I've done well this time, I've really only missed one where I translated one part of the string, but not the other. Sometimes it can be easy though, because when things are abbreviated, it usually means: don't translate. The good thing about it is, that usually people working with these kinds of projects, are quite familiar with the English that has been used, as it is quite common to use English in programming. All went well I think though, however, I am looking forward to translating more regular 'text' in the time to come.
It's an interesting project, that's for sure, and I really hope I'll be learning more as I go along.
