#1 Sandbar and Giant Clams in Mabini, Bohol

It's always a delight to find a hidden gem so beautiful but hidden away from travel blogs. Mabini in the Philippines is one of these places until we learn about it from @steemspots. As the boat approaches the island the first thing you see is a hut built on stilts to protect it from the high tides. From the hut, is a gorgeous S shape white sandbar extending inland. Another highlight on the island are the 18 massive clams which eventually will produce pearls. These clams cost around Php20k each no wonder one of them were stolen. The water on the island is crystal clear water which means you can get a close look at the clam and even see them opening and closing their valves.

#2 Forest of Legends

If you like legends and beautiful snowy hikes, checkout @dejan.vuckovic's post from Austria. His intention (after going to his best friend's wedding) was to do a bit of cyclying on the Salzkammergut (Salt Chamber Estate) trail. Unfortunately snow (in May!!) messed up his plans so he decided to hike instead. With a touch of snow still hanging off the trees, the forest looks really enchanting, and there's a good mix of terrain so it certainly looks like a great hike to do. Along the route are a lot of sculptures carved in the trees and to be honest, some of them look a bit scarey. Each of them of them tell their own story as @dejan.vuckovic found out from his hosts, check out his post to see which you is your favourite.

#3 Lets let the Journey Begin! 1st Cruise Stop: ALOTAU (Papua New Guinea) - Come Visit With Me to a Local Village in Alotau!

@cooknbake first stop from her cruise holiday is at a place called Alotau near Papua New Guinea. Alotau is packed with culture and history with a lot to do, so @cooknbake had to make sure she fully utilize her 10 hours before heading back on board in the evening. Luckily about half an hour away is a remote village where she can explore the local traditions, culture and art, enjoy some dance performance and of course sample some local food.

Thank you for nomination but there is a mistake. The Japanese Garden is located in Herastrau Park from Bucharest, Romania, not Japan :)

That was totally my mistake (@martibis), I think I was typing a bit too fast, haha! Fixed it now!

No worries, thank you! :)
