TRAVELMAN DUBAI: You Can Go Skiing in The Mall of the Emirates!

Hey, you wanna go to the mall? I need a phone charger, and then we can get a Cinnabon and then we can go hit the slopes while we’re there! ...What? You don’t go skiing at your mall? But you still have penguins that you can interact with, right?

Mall of the Emirates opened in 2005, and it was all the rage, then the Mall of Dubai opened three years later and one upped them... well, four or five upped them.

For instance, this mall only has one Cheesecake Factory. -and they still have the nerve to call themselves a mall.

Below is a model of some of the islands in the as of yet unfinished World Islands. Realtors stand next to the model offering to sell you investment opportunities there. I said I could buy a small piece of the model but that would be about it.

The ski slope is up and behind it, no one was skiing...

I read that they bring penguins out at certain times of the day...

They have a cafe in there as well where you can drink hot chocolate..
