‼️UPDATE‼️- ROAD TRIP 2017 🇺🇸 - ROUTE 66 (11.1) - WILLIAMS, AZ -> LAS VEGAS, NV (day 8 on the road)
Dear Steemians,
Yesterday evening, after I had posted part 11 of my Route 66 story, my fellow traveler, Claude, contacted me to tell me that I had forgotten Oatman, AZ in my article. And he is right.
Fortunately I had shared the post on FB, for Claude is not a (yet) a Steemian and the mistake would maybe never have been discovered. This would have been a pity, for Oatman and the way to get there over the narrow and winding Oatman Road is worth its own story. This story it will get now.
So this is an update to my yesterdays post. I'll present you that interesting little town of Oatman, AZ and as also the map in my yesterdays post was not correct, for we did not take Highway 93, but, after Highways 153 and 163, Highway 95 to get to Las Vegas, please see the actualized map of the eight days trip below.

Gestern Abend, nachdem ich Teil 11 gepostet hatte, meldete sich Claude, mein Mitreisender, um mir mitzuteilen, dass ich Oatman, Arizona in meinem Artikel vergessen hatte. Und er hat Recht!
Glücklicherweise hatte ich den Artikel auf FB geteilt, denn Claude ist (noch) kein Steemian und der Fehler wäre vielleicht nie aufgefallen, was sehr schade wäre, denn Oatman und der Weg dorthin über die schmale und gewundene Oatman Road ist schon alleine einen Artikel wert. Diesen eigenen Artikel bekommt es nun.
Dies ist also das Update zu meinem gestrigen Post. Ich werde heute die interessante kleine Stadt Oatman vorstellen. Da auch die Karte in meinem gestrigen Post nicht korrekt ist (wir nahmen nicht Highway 93, sondern nach Highway 153 und 163, Highay 95 in Richtung Las Vegas), seht bitte die aktualisierte Karte vom achten Tag unterwegs hier unten.
