Jawbox is in my head, in my head, zom-bay, zom-bay, zom-bay, oh oh oh oh

Not entirely surprising, since I just saw this band in Chicago over the past weekend. They've been a favorite of mine since high school, and they'd been broken up for nearly that long as well. It was so awesome to see them, especially considering the sold out the Metro in Chicago. The crowd and the band were both very excited and it was obvious.

I had the part of the song which goes "lackluster hero, go back to zero" part stuck in my head. I wasn't entirely sure which song that was when I first woke up, so I took advantage of the fact that we live in the future and can just type random lyrics into iTunes and it'll find songs that match.

This post is part of an ongoing series in which I document the songs which are in my head immediately upon waking.

I don't know if this is something that is common with everyone or not, but I seemingly wake up with a song already in my head every single morning.

There is often no reason why it should be there. I hadn't heard it in the previous day, hadn't discussed it, nothing.
