It's In Your Head, Zom-bay, Zom-bay, Zom-bay-ay-ay-ay-oh-oh: Chris Staples
I don't know if this is something that is common with everyone or not, but I seemingly wake up with a song already in my head every single morning. There is often no reason why it should be there. I hadn't heard it in the previous day, hadn't discussed it, nothing.

Chris Staples - Times Square
No, not Chris Stapleton. I'd never heard of that until he opened for Tom Petty last summer when Tom Petty was still on this planet.
This is Chris Staples. He sings really nice indie singer/songwriter type stuff. You've heard it a million times but it usually bad. Only like 1% of people who attempt this style make a lasting impression, from my research.
Chris Staples has made a lasting impression on me. I saw him open up for Rocky Votolato on the Makers 10th Anniversary tour a couple of years back.
This is one of his more laid-back songs, and features a verse sung by an unknown but pleasant female guest vocalist.
