I continued to struggle betting wise yesterday. The damage is still limited and I decreased my stakes a bit along with not having official bets that I would take some extra on in BTC until the point there is a clear turnaround. The Winter Break is just a couple days and should give me some time away to refresh after a long slow downswing. I will remain extra careful for now and mostly wait things out for potential live bets.

Club Brugge vs Antwerp

Club Brugge has continued their overall poor league form last week against Kortrijk. One of their main issues so far has been to perform after a mid-week CL match. These are now gone which might bring a good performance from them. Antwerp is one of the best away teams going 8W-1 L against the asian handicap and 7W-2L on the away under. I expect them to bring their same away style of keeping things closed in the defense. I both took some on Antwerp +0.5 @ 2.35 and the Under 2.75 @ 1.98 pre-game and will see how it all plays out live maybe taking a middle position at some point in the match.

Eupen vs Racing Genk

Genk were on fire last week against Oostende but it might not be the best reference match as Oostende tend to be extremely bad against good teams. Genk got themselves eliminated in the cup after Clement again fielded a B-squad losing with Penalties against a 2nd division team. The team has played a lot of matches and many players are starting to reach their limits. Striker Samatta seems to be in better form again and they will be without Trossard who is injured. Eupen are nothing special, they won the important match against Moeskroen last week and have nothing really to lose today. My lean goes out to Genk and the Over but I see no real reason to get involved pre-game in this one. All betting will be live in this match

Zulte-Waregem vs Charleroi

A horrible performance last week from Zulte-Waregem last week against a very good Standard. They seem to be quite unreliable right now and there is no real angle to predict how good or bad they will be today. Charleroi is a tough team to predict also. They seem to have switched back to a counter style similar to last year and results have followed often not playing convincing but still winning with counter goals.I would not be surprised to see a slow start of the match with a study round where both teams are unwilling to take any risks. The only pre-game bet I took is on the 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.13 and I will see how the match plays out live.
