Enjoy this latest issue!
I love that most signs in Japan include hats. I suppose today they are making a bit of a comeback, but just how long have fedoras been out of style? Out of style everywhere except for Japanese signs that is!
Faces pop up in the most unlikely places if you keep your eyes open and look for them.
Another interesting Japanese house design. Don't make ths mistake of thinking the other section with the car in front is part of it—no, that's a sepreate house. Both houses are pretty narrow, which is pretty normal. The roof on this house is worth pointing out. Many newer houses have a flat roof that can double as space for hanging clothes, growing a garden, or just relaxing. It's a nice feature.
That's all for today. Any favorites? Tune in tomorrow for more!

More Attention More Gain
I remember from my time in Japan that driers were very rare. I didn't have one. Is this still the case?
Yep, it's still true. You can find them in the stores, but they are considered a waste of money and energy. Same with dish washers.
Yeah ... having had to wash my own dishes for the last couple of years, I'd say they are worth every penny. But in Canada we have lots of water and energy ... if I had to pay more for it, I might change my mind:0
Sometimes it's nice to turn off the brain and mindlessly do some dishes. Or listen to an audio book/podcast while washing. Same with hanging out wet clothes to dry. But yeah, overall I agree, if I could get one for a decent price, I would love to have a dishwasher again. And a dryer. The time savings is well worth the price in my opinion.
Next time your in the neighbourhood and you got an inchin to do dishes ... let me know:):):)
