The Stairs... (Central Station part VI of VI)
So here they are, as I promised yesterday, the stairs... In this case it are the stairs to the end of the central station adventure as we reached the last picture.
Walking around in this Travellers Church gave me an idea for the next series… The Keyword of the next adventure is in the sentence before so… guess where I will take you too in the next adventure… 😉

Yesterday I learned/noticed that mentions (@username) don’t always work… so maybe I’m writing this for nothing… but hey, I’m a polite guy and as you all took the time to vote or comment, I will continue to thank you all. Geweldige foto! Erg mooi daar, de hele straat is prachtig qua gebouwen. Was allemaal afgesloten met planken de laatste keer dat ik daar was, behalve de dierentuin. Mooie stad!

BTW : wanneer was jij daar dan? Moet toch al enkele jaren terug zijn...
Op 14 mei 2016. Was vlak na de aanslagen in Brussel denk ik, liepen overal soldaatjes met machinegeweren.
Ha, nu zie ik het... dat zijn de werken aan de Koningin Elisabethzaal... en dus niet het Centraal Station. In 2016 waren de werken in het station al lang af. Ondertussen zijn de werken in de Koningin Elisabethzaal ook af... Wat niet betekent dat de "werken" in Antwerpen gedaan zijn... het lijkt hier soms een Kranenbos...
Maar ik had het ook over de straat en niet over het station. Ik vind die Jugendstil gebouwen altijd mooi, maar daar stonden die planken tegen. En ik gebruik altijd gewoon mijn gsm voor foto's , maar dat ging niet echt van zo'n afstand. Het Station en de ZOO waren wel gewoon zichtbaar en vrij van grote werken. Maar zo heb ik een extra reden om terug te komen! Fijn weekend alvast! :)
Ha, dat verklaart veel. En ja, alle redenen zijn goed om nog eens terug te komen. Ik wandel elke dag +/- 2 uur door de stad, op verschillende plekken, en vind altijd wel iets om te fotograferen. Als je mijn website bezoekt zal je daar bij mijn foto's ook altijd een google map vinden met de plaats waar de foto genomen is... misschien leuk om enkele adressen te noteren voor je volgende bezoek? cheers, en jij ook een fijn weekend!

Thanks! I took my time to make it... and that's very risky nowadays... everybody is looking what the hell that guy is doing with that camera. You have to know that in the last year there have been at least 3 bomb-warnings in that station... After Brussel, Antwerp seems to be high on the list of possible targets...
