So my, my friends, it is time for me to write a part 2 of my visit to National Park Sila in Italy. Simply a gorgeous place worth visiting. A great place to take your family and enjoy many things this park has to offer with beauty being the best of them. If you ever near this place take your family here for a beautiful day. Beautiful scenery, nature, good company(my teammates), and fresh air is just what I needed after a week of hard pre-season practices. :)

If you are just joining in and missed the first part of National Park Sira you can catch up with the story by clicking here.

In the first post I have shown you the beauty of lake Ariamacina, place designated for picnics, donkey and pony ride through the park, geological stones area, and the how well maintained this park truly is. Now it is time get a little bit deeper into the park and show you the rest of what this park has to offer. Are you ready? I have truly saved the best for last.

As we moved the deeper into the park's trails the first thing we ran into are these charismatic little houses which from what I understood can be rented for a day. I am thinking it would be fun to rent one these houses if any of you guys decide to visit this beautiful park with your family. Renting it for ourselves would not really work for us as we are a little bit too tall for them as we are basketball players. We would probably be hitting the roof with our heads all the time. lol But, for kids, I am sure it would be a fun experience.

Like I told you before this park incredibly well maintained and even when you get deeper into the park I could not find a single piece of trash anywhere. Which is amazing for me to see. I wish we would maintain our nature like this everywhere and not just and just in national parks. The world would sure be a less polluted place. Let's hope people will start treating the nature the way it deserves to be treated in the future. Because in reality, we are only destroying ourselves. Nature will survive, but we will not survive us slowly destroying it. Hopefully, we will start realizing it before it too late. We all have to do our parts to keep this planet clean and free of pollution just like this park.

"The greatest threat to our planet is the belief is that someone else will save it."
Robert Swan

Along the walking trails, they have built designated resting areas which are just like the bench we sat on in the picnic area assimilated with nature. Like nature built them itself. They did not disturb the nature too much. Rather they adapted to its ways. A symbiotic relationship. Love it.

As I am a big fan of sun breaking through the treas I took some gorgeous photos while we were walking. I believe light breaking through the trees is a perfect example of life itself. Sometimes like the sun we also have to break through the "trees" in order to shine. Even though sometimes there is "thick" forest in front of us to break through.

We also ran into these two huge trees. By my estimation, they are about 30-40m(98-131ft) tall. Simply a gorgeous view. I wondered how many years it took for this trees to grow so tall? I would guess it took over 100 years, but I am not an expert and I could be wrong. I only feel bad for not taking pictures up to the sky to illustrate how tall these two trees really are. You will have to settle for me posing between them. 😂

We just did not have enough energy to walk 9km around the whole trail to see the entire park, but we did run into this gorgeous and majestic animal in their conservatory. Ladies and gentlemen meet real-life Bambi all grown up. There were more of them in the back and they all seemed to be in good health and very taken care of just like this park in general. Such a beautiful creature.🦌😃

After snapping some photos of Bambi the trail ahead of was getting too steep and our tired legs from practices this week were saying HELL NO we are doing climbing that way.😂 So we decided to turn around and walk back to the start. As we turned around we got a little 1 out of 2 gifts from the park. We looked up and saw the sun playing hide and seek with the clouds above. They were having some fun up there. lol They were having fun and giving us this gorgeous view to enjoy. It does not get much better than this.

We did not realize how far up the trail we actually walked as it took us about 50 min to arrive back to the entrance of the park. Our legs were not happy campers at all and who could blame them.😂 We came down there and started stretching while people around us were giving us the looks. What in the hell are these guys doing? lol We were tired but still managed to smile for a group photo. Here are 3 of my teammates and me making a memory of this great day.

We sat in our car still admiring the nature around us only to realize the park has given us a second goodbye gift. Beautiful sun playing hide and seek again with the clouds. Those two are at it yet again.lol Playful sun and clouds=amazing sight. We live on this amazing planet with gifts all around us. We just have to look around to notice them. I snapped this photo out of a moving car. I am truly becoming a pro at snapping photos from a moving car. Tapping myself on the shoulder right now with one hand and writing with the other. Good job, Duro. 😜 Self-affirmation type of stuff. lol

I am interested what do you guys see in this picture? I see something like somebody is watching us, and that glorious orange light is coming from the two eyes shaped by the clouds. :)

It took us about 40 minutes to return back to Cosenza, but it went by really fast as the scenery around the park and the way to the park is beautiful. Plus I took the time to start connecting photos and the organizing my post for Steemit in my head so I can share it with you guys. No time wasted. lol

Cosenza welcomed us with a beautiful sunset just above the mountain. It seems like the sun got tired of playing hide and seek with clouds and decided to retire behind the mountain and go to sleep. Which is exactly what I did when I got home. I cooked myself a dinner, thanked God for this amazing day he has gifted me with and went straight to the land of dreams. Life is truly great at the moment. I am blessed.

You're right! These photos are definitely beautiful!

It sounds like you had a great time there with your teammates even if you did have to walk a long way. I like the first picture a lot with the sun shining through the trees.

It's always great to visit places like this where you can enjoy nature. Thanks for sharing, and I'll look forward to seeing more great shots if you get to travel anywhere else soon!

Like I said, my friend, I saved the best for the 2nd part of the report. The park is truly beautiful. If we stayed there longer I would have hard time choosing what photos to use as there would be many beautiful pictures :)

We were tired but the walk was well worth. Had a great time and got to spend some time in the nature breathing in that fresh air. :)

The next post I will write will be about Cosenza. It is a beautiful town but I need to accumulate photos first. It will probably be a 3-4 part post as it is a big city with a lot to show. :)

Thank you as always for amazing comment. Much appreicated. Have a good one. :)

Oh wow, I'd love to go there!!! Beautiful places, beautiful photos, @awakentolife ! (soulfulmystery here)

Hi my amazing friend. :)

Well, if you are ever in Italy. This is one amazing place to visit, but from your gorgeous photos posts, I see you have some amazing places where you live just like this park. :)

Thank you for stopping by and reading. Have an amazing day. :)

Beautiful place indeed Durko, love all the photos, especially the Bambi and the last sunset shot. I had a good laugh about the cute little houses being too small for you, tall basketball players lol. UPV & RSD plus tip!

Glad you liked it. I had a feeling you would like the Bambi all grown up pictures. :)

Yep those houses were not designed for tall people. lol I am sure I would hit my head at some point. lol

Thank you as always for your support. :) XOXO @lenasveganliving

Thank you @hopehuggs. I really did put some thought into writing this one. As I had great photos I had to put in some thought on how to put it all together to become a post worth sharing with you guys. :)
