The Hidden Dangers of Dishonesty
The world is becoming more transparent. Look at the blockchain- each detail recorded meticulously and permanently and accessible to anyone. Created to decentralize and place the power in the hands of the people.
We are at an era where dishonesty and omission of fact is becoming more and more difficult.
Why? Because we are sick of the Powers That Be hiding things from us. We are outraged by the dishonesty.
And because lies sucks.
How do you feel when someone close to you has lied to you? Hurt? Betrayed? Exposed? Why do you feel this way? Because you placed your trust in someone and they knowingly did something against you.
What is the definition of abuse?
“To use something to bad effect or for a bad purpose.”
“To treat with cruelty or violence, especially regularly or repeatedly.”
Lying and omitting details is abuse. It is cruel. You can argue that to tell the truth is crueler, as in a case of adultery, but people always find out. We are each ingrained with an inherent sense we like to call instinct. It’s left over from when we had to escape snarling, breathmint needing sabertooths, but we still have it, and when we are lied to that nagging little sense prickles our conscious to let us know that something is just not right.
Lying and omission is very damaging to the victim. It fosters self doubt which leads to a waver in self esteem. It stimulates the production of cortisol- the body’s natural fight or flight hormone, and if the lies continue the cortisol in the victim begins creating all sorts of nasty afflictions such as anxiety, mental health problems and even heart ailments.
Lies and the omission of full truth is damaging. It is abuse. The world is beginning to realize this and is eliminating avenues in which the acts are possible. I urge you to do the same in your family and friendships.
No, those pants do not make you look fat, however, all that extra stress from an overproduction of cortisol does.

Croatia is one place I have yet to visit... are the people cold there?
It depends you know.
I don't like when someone put few millions of people in one bucket and say they are all the same. So it really depends. I meet people who were kind as you but also those who were cold and careless.
All in all, I can tell you this about Croatia: it is a beautiful country, but there is corrupted government that destroys all of it. The main problem we got here is that many people are moving out the country. Why? It's simple - there is no future and prosperity.
Generalizing to an extent. Like I can honestly say, "in general" of course, the people in my region of the world are typically open and outright. When I went to the midwest for a brief stay the general feel was that I was an outsider. And the people felt closeminded. Each piece of this planet has a "majority".
Where are they all headed, is it one country or are they scattering?
It would help humanity a great deal if we would simply start looking for truth, accepting the ugly state of reality and speak truth and stop participating in the matrix world of material illusions and soon AI induced Virtual Reality. We are the People! When is humanity waking up to the fact that 1% Kakistocracy (means the worst of the worst is ruling this planet) is trying to control, manipulate, and ultimately destroy what is human versus 99% going along with this sick agenda? We can stop all of this immediately if we stop participating in sick systems and stop being obedient. Our problem is obedience not dis-obedience.
I like to refer to those humans as "sheeple"

This is true in so many ways. Here's 2 that I can think of right off the bat
I stopped watching regular news programs years ago bc they all have their own agenda based version of a story and the actual truth is really hard to get unless one actually witnessed the event that's being reported on.
I truly trust a very small handful of people in my personal life because in the past people have under estimated my ability to figure out if they're lying about something. I am a very skeptical, pragmatic person (or maybe just call me a pessimist like many others do) and I wasn't born this way. I am a product of my environment.
Nice insight. I truly hope that common people like us can some day trust the government and the media once again. I'm afraid this would require a complete reset of our government, financial system, news media, educational establishment, and many other things that will probably never change for the better unless it is done in some radical way.
In order to trust the government it would have to work terribly hard to earn that trust...
