Invisible Drawing Contest - The winners :)
One week ago I announced the prices of the invisible drawing contest. The task in the contest was to draw something without seeing the subject of the drawing because everything is dark. Then choose a title in the dark and make a post about the experience. I think it was a very interesting contest for we have all had the chance to learn more about our subconcious. It was really hard to pick a winner in this contest for there were so man great entries and great observations.
The prices are:

4th: 1 SBD
5-11th: 0.5 SBDs

It was very hard to choose the winners in this surreal challenge for shure. I think I made a good choice though and I add one more winner for it felt unfair to let one of my 11 favorites not win. I am very thankful about everyone who participated in this contest and I am happy to read that you had fun with it too. At the moment I am thinking about making a new contest. Propably one that does not last a week. It got really confucing with time because the comment section was so loaded with great entries and I lost the overview a bit. I am very very happy I had the chance to host this contest because of my own earnings on steemit. This plattform has really changed my life. Though I love art university did not accept me because my portfolio was in their opinion not good enough. I had sold some art but I have never been in such a vivid exchange of inspiration like on this plattform. Now I can even support others! I hope you enjoyed this contest as much as I did. I will transfere the prices now.

I feel so honored to have won the first price! WOW!!! To be honest I never expected that as there are so many good painters whith their amazing artworks which took part on the contest!

To those that haven't won: You are great artists! Winning money or not dosen't change that, always remember this :)
And we all gained something priceless: A beautiful experience! :)
I will use the money to do some good to the world. Maybe I give it to the local animal shelter, spend it for a warm pullover for a homeless or to an organization like the local domestic assault centre or the refugee shelter! :) I'll listen to my heart! :)
And I can't understand university to concider your portfolio as not good enough dear @yoganarchista!! You are an AMAZING artist and I guess they'll rue their decision if they see your artworks!
But I am very happy for you to have found a perfect way to live your passion anyways and do some good to the Steemit and art community! I am very grateful you enrich us and inspire and motivate me to do more art myself! Thanks a lot for this!! :)

Thank you very much for your amazing comment. I had a lot to do yesterday that is why I just left you an upvote but no answer. I think you are right. Who has not won here is still doing a great job as an artist by gaining a new experience.
Maybe university did not consider me becausee I was not really so much into the university teaching style anymore anyways. After I quit studing architecture and after that philosophy and German Linguistics I propably felt that this enviroment was more one that my parents wanted to see me in than the surrounding that I needed to grow as an artist. I am really grateful to have found that place in steemit and in the friends I found here and of course the ones that are with me already longer. One big change for me was also the founding of @kali-berlin which will open soon. I am so excited that this project has its homebase in steemit and that we are doiing something new and hopefully great for our area of the city.
I am happy to motivate you and others to create art for I think it is the most natural thing for humans to do, fuck wars and violence, the only battle we should know is one over the multicoloured pencil. Steemit is encouraging us to come together and make a new plan instead of thinking in old political and economic terms that made us fight constantly. I hope that we can keep this great spirit because lately there is a lot of scam comments here and this is really annoing. I think with my next post I am going to mute/flag all the useless bot comments. I am really disappointed people want to take the old system in the new. We are here to share and help each other. We want that others can make a living of it. But not by cheating but by trust!

I absoultely understand your feelings about university teaching styles and the point when you felt it was more your parents wish to do so and study. I also did a lot of things which didn't match my personal way and didn't serve my life purpose in any way just because I thought I need to do that to make people around me happy and proud. But nowadays my mindset changed a lot and I only do what makes me feel I am on the right track and fulfill my purpose in this life :)
I am so, so happy for you you can live your dream now and do what feels right and makes you shine! :)
