My contribution to the drawing Contest: "Invisible Drawing" by @yoganarchista/Title: "Growing insight"

Dear Steemians!✨

There are no coincidences, right? When I woke up this morning I told my husband that I really want to do more art again, as it is truely liberating to my soul! And just a few hours later I came across this amazing art contest by dear @yoganarchista!

What a great chance to motivate myself and realize my plans even faster than expected!

I immediately loved the idea of drawing in the dark as this is something extremely valuable. Why? Because you can't think about what to draw and whether it looks perfect or not. You just have to trust your creativity and the divine flow which guides your hand. No ego. No perfectionism. Just pure and athentic art and beauty. I decided to take part and submit a drawing, too! 🎨

So I grabbed a paper and two pens whith the colours of the darkness. Even if darkness sometimes revelas very colourful patterns, visions and other very psychedelic things to my mind when I close my eyes. But I decided to take black and blue and look what if feels to only paint with dark colours. And it was SO much fun!

I turned off the lights, went down on my knees on the ground and started to meditate for a short while. When I felt ready and was able to let go my thoughts, I started to invite all the impressions, secrets and patterns the darkness revealed to me. And to be honest: I was overwhelmed! I didn't expect such clear visions to come to my mind. I rather expected some dots and patterns which the still remaining impression of the light in my eyes left which my brain was about to process. But it didn't take long time until a very clear message came to me and showed it's beauty to me. A floral fractal, just like a Lotus flower and a big eye looking directly into my mind. I felt a strong energy in my body and wondered if my short meditation opened a gateway to my higher self before I started painting.

Even if I don't know the reason for this magical moment, I feel so grateful for it as it feels very encouraging. Just like the divine telling me: Keep on following your path. Keep on meditating. Keep on seeking your spiritual truth and you'll gain some growing insights.

That's why I called this piece of art "Growing insight"!

I want to thank @yoganarchista for this unique and brilliant idea and for the (for me) very touching moment it brought to me! It was a mix between an art session, a very powerful meditation and a spiritual epiphany!💮

Here's what darkness revealed to me:

A flower as pure as light itself and an all-seeing, inner eye which lets you see all the things your physical eyes aren't able to capture.

Somehow there are a lot of emotions inside me now. I guess I'll meditate about that encounter this evening to appreciate it and show my gratefulness to the divine✨

Be creative, be love! 💖

Namasté,

yours Linda

This is beautiful. So something good as this can come out of 'darkness'? You did well. I have known you to be a creative person.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback my friend!! :) :) :)
In my case something very good came out of the darkness :)
Thanks a lot for your praise and comment!! :)
Do you do creative things, too my friend? :)

Best wishes and a wonderful day! :)

It's my pleasure. Your contents deserve more than my comments and praises 😘.

Yes! I cut hair. Is that creative enough? Well, I think it is because for you to achieve an excellent and perfect haircut for your clients you've got to be creative.

Do have a great day too.

Wow, that's so kind of you to say!!! A HUGE thank you my dear freind!!! :)

I am speechless on how beautiful your feedback is! You also deserve so much more than praise and compliments and I hope you'll make a lot of money on Steemit!! :)

You cut hair?? This is so cool!! And definately creative!! You need to have a very good sense for aesthetics and what suits people! :)
I have a lot of curls which most hair stylists mess up when I get a cut as they are often overwhelmed by my hair structure as it's not seen too often here in Germany :D
If I come to Nigeria I would love to get a haircut from you as I am sure you're a great hair artist and I would love to spend my money on a friend rather than a stranger :) <3

I hope you feel great and have the best day ever :)

P.S.: I really love your blog! I visited the link you sent to me and it's amazing!!! :) :) :) Great job!! I wish you a lot of success and fun!

Thank you once again, Linda.

I'm new here on steemit tho. Earning hasn't been easy. How I'd have loved to upvote you - but it has little or no effects on your posts. Thanks for wishing a lot of money here(smiles).

Oops! Not every hair artist understand that all hair have different patterns and you must follow that pattern to achieve a nice and excellent haircut.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I really appreciate it, Linda.

You are more than welcome my dear friend! :)

I am new here, too (since November 2017) and I understand you on the point about making money hasn't been easy but I guess if we stay persistent and positive in mind, we will make it my dear!! :)

Aaaaaaw thank you SO MUCH!!! Your words mean so much to me!! My upvotes also don't help you very much in a financial way, unfortunately. But for myself I can say: Meeting you and having amazing talks with you is so much more worth than just money. Of course we all need money to survive, but it's encounters with amazing souls like you what life is about and what makes it priceless :) So thank you very much for supporting me, your amazing and touching words and our exchange in knowledge! :)

Hahaha, that's right. A lot of hair stylists in Germany just cut my hair the way they are used to-and that's straight hair cuts most the time which can easily end up looking...shitty :D
That's why I cut my hair myself the last time. I was like: IF ANYONE WILL MESS MY HAIR CUT UP, IT WILL BE ME SO I CAN ONLY BE ANGRY ON MYSELF!! :D
Somehow I managed to not totally fail and it lookd ok. :D Better than shitty, I guess :D

Keep up the amazing work on your blog! It's so cool!! :)

Have the best day and a hug to you :)

That is a lovely composition and I love how it came into being! It actually reminds me of my cat ( I have a slightly surreal imagination at times 😂 )

Thank you very much!! :) :) :)
Hahahahaha I know that point about slightly surreal imagination :D But that's great! I love that you interpret this picture in your own way! You seem to be a creative mind, that's something wonderful! :)
And by the way: I LOVE cats!!! <3

Here is my cat that your pic reminds me of

Oh my goodness, this is way to cute!! :D I couldn't stop cuddling this fluffly ball! She's AMAZING! And even fluffier than my curly hair! :DThank you so much for this video, I am such a cat person, I love those little creatures so much! :) <3

Thanks for embracing the fluffiness - I am crazy for cats too 💛
