My mom created a Steemit account...
Good morning my friends or good afternoon / evening according to which part of the planet you belong.
Today I want to comment and warn you about what happened to me. I made the serious mistake of telling my mom about Steemit. My error happens more by her participation in the platform, than by what she is as a person. It is worth clarifying that she is a pillar and example for me. I hope I will become 10% of what she is.
When I tell my mother about this new social network, she was excited and loved the idea of participating in a community where there are very good people and get paid to publish. So far, it was all normal. The problem was when she began to ask me her doubts.
For you to understand, my mother is a very innocent person, too innocent.
Imagine that on one occasion she called me asking me where she had to buy the glasses for the movies. I didn't understand what she was asking me, and I say to her:
"Ma why do you want to buy glasses for the cinema? I don't understand".
To which she responds:
"Of course, I want to go to see a 3D movie and I don't know where they are bought."
I almost died of love and laughter. But she is that way.
On another occasion, she called me desperate, because she had received an email where she was told that she had been selected in a draw and that she was the winner of a cell phone. Giant was her disappointment, when I told her it was a lie. She cried...
She lives 300km from where I live. And before she created her Steemit account, she usually called me 3 or 4 times a day. When she created the user, I started receiving 14 calls per day.
If I was three days to understand what was steem, steem power and sbd. I don't even tell you what it was like to explain this to her.
Not to mention when I say the word Blockchain...

When she managed to understand what Steemit was and how to get by, her first post was with a photo of me...
Here I almost close my account.
I seriously question my future at Steemit. As if that wasn't enough, her first post headed the trending and the most used tag on that day was:
I didn't talk to her for a week. But since my mother is like that and doesn't care what I say, her second post was based on this photo ...
It hurt in my soul but FLAG for my mother, I'm not proud of that haircut and was kept in my greatest secrets. I don't need to tell you that her post again headed the trending and the tag that revolutionized steemit was:
At least she would have deigned to put this photo, in which I pretend to be cute...
After that post, she continued to be proud of her son and was followed by the following post titled:
"How to analyze your child's poop and find out if it is healthy. I love you dear son (@tincho)."
In this post (I'll not reproduce the images) she explained with photos, as she realized, according to the color of my poop, If I was healthy or ill.

Worst of all is that this doesn't end here, in the next post I'll let you know how far my mother came talking about my privacy. It costs me until today to reproduce all this again, so let's go little by little, I know you will understand.
My advice, I've spent a fortune in therapy since my mother joined Steemit. So NEVER BUT, NEVER tell your mothers about this platform.

I would advise you not to be so critical to the actions of your mother. Just imagine how much of your escapades she had to endure, how many times have you put her in an awkward position when you was a kid. But then you was a child, you explored the world and did not knew what is good and what is bad for doing in society.
Now she is just beginning to explore the world of the Internet and Steemit in particular. We can say that she is like a child, and now you're more experienced, and it is your time to teach her. Be patient and try to explain to her what she may put on the Internet and what should not, because once being put in network, photos will be there forever, and they will not can be deleted.

My friend forgive me if you misunderstand. But this is just a story, all my stories are fiction. My mom doesn't have a steemit account and handles the internet and computers better than I do. Also I use the humor tag. Thank you for saying that I WAS cute, haha

I know the feeling, brother! It took me a long time to explain Blockchain as well! I even went as far as using Schrodinger's cat and quantum physics haha!
