Monthly Food Gifts For Underprivileged Families
Dear Steemians,
You might know that we try to provide foods to some underprivileged families each month. As we live in an area surrounded by slums, we try to help the community by different humanitarian work. One of my brothers is an active young community leader and we are expecting him as a candidate for next ward election. He supports me different ways and this was his great help every month who manage it for helping people.

This time we are going to help 8 families with the foods. My father loved to help his community. He loved to provide education to slum children and also had an education centre but not for a long time. My brothers and I also try to help within our affordability to keep the passion continue. The foods were managed by my elder brothers to support 8 families this month.
Each bags contains
- Potatoes
- Rice
- Onion
- Garlic
- Oil
- Pulses
Last month we allocated to 10 families.
The foods are still in our home and hopefully, we will able to allocate them tonight by visiting slums and local people house. We know the foods are not enough to give many people but we at least happy that we can help few people.

The above picture is last month allocation. As we can't give many families so we try to give it by visiting home who are much needy. Allocation from a single place will make unhappy who would not get food gift. So it looks better to visit their hut and make them happy for few days. I will try the pictures of allocation when I have them.

It is very nice the action you undertake every day, I do the same but with the dogs of my community. Everyone usually forgets animals, they forget that they, like us, feel sadness, hunger, heat, cold and worst of all, they can not talk to ask for help ... So I try to be the voice of those little angels the best of my ability, I try to make a difference for their life.
I think that as human beings we often look for the meaning of life, and some people say that the meaning of life is to give. Many people have found their meaning in giving themselves to others, Mother Teresa of Calcutta is possibly one of the most emblematic examples, but there are many other people who have directly or indirectly led a life of dedication to others like us. Giving without waiting is a beautiful habit that we can all develop. This not only allows us to learn to detach and share, it also helps to build a more human present. By the way, if it's not too much trouble I wanted to invite you to read my posts. I would greatly appreciate if you take the time to read them, and in case you like them, I would appreciate it if you would give me a vote, a comment, or a resteem.

I know it is an alternative way to monetize your writing but Text is best alternative and hopefully, you can use videos and pictures, how you are helping and how you can do more if all stay with you <3 . I see your Instagram and you seem are much active with these things. Can't wait to see your success here. Stay in touch. :)
Ow, I use images because I still do not know how to edit the texts here in Steemit (place the justified text, the image on the right or left and the text next to it) Could you explain to me how customize the post in that way? You would be very helpful!

What if! Dogs are the love of my life, my passion, they are the beings that cheer and move my life. Look, all these dogs I fed them with the money that I collected here, since I live in Venezuela and (I do not know if you know the terrible crisis that my country is going through) and the minimum wage here is $ 2 per month so what I earn With my two jobs I do not always have enough to feed them, but thanks to this community and the beautiful little people who vote for me, I have been able to help more dogs and continue with my labor.

How much approximately does it cost for the bag of food for each family?
Thank you @pennsif . The cost of each bags was about 11.25 USD this time.
We could provide 2 litters oil, 5 KG rice, 2 KG potatoes, 2 KG onion, 1/2 KG Garlic, 1 KG pulses.
