Подошёл к концу очередной этап нашей вечеринки. Тема оказалась достаточно плодотворной. В общей сложности мы имеем восемь интересных работ.
Позволю себе напомнить, в чём заключалось это задание.
The next stage of our party has come to an end. The topic turned out to be quite fruitful. In total, we have eight interesting works.
Let me remind you what this task was.
Concept
You have to find the idea of a low key and implement it in post-processing (correct or radically change the original photo). At the same time, you post the result, the original photo and screenshots of the process, if necessary.

And with that I am faced with an inner conflict: of course I like to occupy myself with image processing programmes in a new way because of our weekly action here.
But: I also have a declared favourite picture in my collection that should work without any editing.

The low key of photography is my love, unlike the high one. The high key is too capricious and besides that, like any night bird or beast, I prefer the dark.

The photo had a dark, moody feel that emphasized my pet's unique features and personality. The use of low key made the photo more interesting and engaging, creating a sense of depth and emotion ...
Наконец, я получил изображение, на котором основной источник света направлен почти исключительно на лицо, в то время как контрасты и слабое освещение на одежде и заднем плане фотографии слабо освещены и неконтрастны.
Finally, I obtained an image where the main source of light is directed almost exclusively to the face, while the contrasts and low lighting in the clothing and background of the photograph are notorious.

To accomplish my task I chose this photograph that I took some time ago, but I love its color and I think it can help me since I have to work with what I have.

People believe that by lighting and jumping over fire, it purifies their souls and they will be healthy in the current year. In complete darkness, thanks to the fires, I managed to take some photos of the celebration.
Впоследствии, специально прояснив эту часть фотографии, мне удалось улучшить ее цвет и размыть фон, создав портретный вид и выделив основное изображение.
Later, by lightening specifically that part of the photograph, I managed to enhance its color and blur the background, creating the appearance of a portrait and highlighting the main image.
Получившуюся фотографию можно было бы сделать загадкой, потому что получилось плохо. Не жалко отправить в фоторедактор, чтобы там сделать еще хуже, опустив яркие места, как того хочет "низкий ключ"...
The resulting photo could be made a mystery, because it turned out badly. It's not a pity to send it to the photo editor to make it even worse there, omitting the bright places, as the "low key" wants...
