Photo contest: post processing #15

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 years ago

My greetings to all the photo post processing group. This week a little late due to connection problems, now overcome!

This week @bambuka, proposes to work in low key.

I participate with this image. A tropical plant called "Pitanga" that produces small fruits similar to cherries.

Originally, I took the picture in "Low key" because I liked the effect achieved. With a totally dark background, the buds of the pitanga are barely visible, practically floating.

Later, by lightening specifically that part of the photograph, I managed to enhance its color and blur the background, creating the appearance of a portrait and highlighting the main image.

"Retrato"

This makes me suggest an idea for the next topic. Here is my proposal.

What if we play to transform the same photograph into several styles?

(Let's say 4 at least) portrait, black and white, high key, some filter to choose.

That way we could observe the transformation of the same photograph into radically different styles.

We have a plant called physalis. He has similar boxes and inside there is something like a berry.

Yes, these "boxes" are very well suited for a low key. A good choice.

I like the result. And thank you for suggesting a topic. This interesting idea will be a continuation of this topic, perhaps. It will be interesting to see what styles the participants will choose and what they will get :)
