Photo contest: post processing #5 - results

It's time to take stock of our small event. I specifically avoid the word "competition", because the main thing is not a competition, but participation, discussion, exchange of experience, conversation of people who are passionate about photography and try to get a result that is more than just pressing the shutter release button of the camera and the phone.

This is the main task that I set myself. At the same time, simple compliments have no special value. "Wow, how beautiful!"... it doesn't carry any useful information. I would like to hear the continuation of this phrase. What exactly did you like about this photo, which solutions of the author are successful. I consider constructive criticism, expressing opinions on the merits, and paying attention to important or interesting points to be the most valuable in the comments.

Together with the authors' posts, such comments can bring a lot of useful things for everyone.

Пришло время подвести итоги нашего небольшого мероприятия. Я специально избегаю слова "конкурс", потому что главным является не состязание, а участие, обсуждение, обмен опытом, разговор людей, которые увлечены фотографией и стараются получить результат, который больше простого нажатия спусковой кнопки затвора камеры или телефона.

Такова основная задача, которую я ставил перед собой. При этом простые комплименты не имеют особой ценности. "ВАУ, как красиво!"... это не несёт никакой полезной информации. За этой фразой хотелось бы услышать продолжение. Что именно в этой фотографии тебе понравилось, какие решения автора являются удачными. Наиболее ценным в комментариях я считаю конструктивную критику, высказывание мнения по существу, обращение внимания на важные или интересные моменты.

Вместе с постами авторов такие комментарии могут принести много полезного для всех.

I'll be honest...when I saw the proposed task, I had no idea how it could be completed. Now, looking at the submitted works, I feel like a fool :). The participants demonstrated brilliant ideas and interesting approaches in post-processing - from drawing to collages and animation. This speaks to the great creative potential of our inhabitants of the planet Steemit.

The author of the idea of this stage of our events (an EXPERT) summed up the results and evaluated the work of the participants. I can hardly say it better than our respected Expert did. Therefore, I will only share my impression. I recommend visiting Expert Post and get acquainted with his conclusions. You will find a lot of interesting and useful information there

Скажу честно...когда я увидел предложенное задание, я понятия не миел, как его можно выполнить. Сейчас, глядя на представленные работы я чувствую себя глупцом :). Участники продемонстрировали блестящие идеи и интересные подходы в постобработке - от рисунка к коллажам и анимации. Это говорит о большом творческом потенциале наших жителей планеты Steemit.

Автор идеи этого этапа наших мероприятий (ЭКСПЕРТ) подвёл итоги и оценил работы участников. У меня вряд ли получится сказать лучше, чем это сделал наш уважаемый Эксперт. In my dreams I went deep into the night and the magic led me to take the antique fire extinguisher that was in the corner of the picture. I filled it with different colored paints and dropped it from high above almost from the moon.

This is an example of positive thinking and creativity at the same time. "If you can't change the situation, at least change your attitude to it." This is both a childish and deeply adult approach.

Trying to take the viewer on a journey through time.

Imagine yourself as an architect of the beginning of the last century... in front of you is a piece of white cardboard, in your right (or maybe left) hand you are holding a piece of coal... the fireplace has just gone out... and you decided to sketch the castle. This is how you usually end long winter evenings :)

The idea of red lines finds its continuation in fences and bars. Like the red lines, the prison can be inside ourselves. And how ready are you to escape? Do you want to leave the usual boundaries, the comfort zone? There are guards, but there is also a gap in the fence... the choice is yours.

What I didn't expect from the participants at all was the animation of the photo. The creative potential is almost inexhaustible.
