FIRST WEEK - summary of our efforts so far (weekly curator report, 09/05/2020)
INTRODUCTION
Just over a week ago, on the 1st of May 2020, @project.hope joined the Community curator program organized by STINC (Steemit Inc).
We've then quickly realized that some initial requirements had to be followed. And that it is also being expected, that all community curators will share weekly reports on their progress.
Fair enough. So, here we go.
SUMMARY: FIRST WEEK
We've started our first week as a Community Curator by educating all those collaborating with us authors. Our goal was to share all those requirements with all content creators (over 70 users) and to reach every single one of them. Which turned out to be very time consuming and quite fun. Kind of a "bonding time" :))
I had to ensure to share all details with them and learn about their feedback. We needed to discuss our participation in this program and it's goals. Some very interesting comments can be found here.
COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
Another challenge was to organize communication channels between 2 parties: authors from our community (again, that's over 70 active users, quite a bit) and small group of curators.
We needed to ensure that they shared links to published original and unique content on STEEM blockchain. And that those links are being shared with a group of curators (@juanmolina, @gbenga and @crypto.piotr) who will be responsible for our actions as a Community curator. This process has been very smooth.
At this stage, all collaborating with us users are fully aware of the details. We've created "steem-only" group within our discord server, where well informed and educated authors are sharing links to their newest publications. That is allowing us (community curators) to carry on with our tasks much easier and more efficiently.
BUILDING NECESSARY TOOLS
Thanks to the amazing programming knowledge of @bala41288, we're currently in posession of a tool allowing us to seek content, which isn't cross-posted to STEEM. That will allow us to reduce the amount of time required to verify which publication is unique before we would reward it with @ steemcurator06 upvote.
AMAZING PIECE OF WORK @bala41288. Thank you!
PLANS FOR UPCOMING WEEK
This week has been very busy and it required lots hours of discussions with different community members. Answering some of their many questions and building those users awareness. In the upcoming week we're planning to encourage more authors to participate and we will focus on promoting engagement within publications promoted and upvoted by @steemcurator06.
We've few ideas which we would like to try out. Ideas, which may encourage our community members to be more active within the comment section :)
Yours,
Project.hope founder
@crypto.piotr
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Below we present all upvoted publications. We're trying to balance our voting power between upvoting posts and comments. Our goal is to stimulate engagement, as we believe that where is traffic - there will be content creators.
