Beat Battle League Week Eight Results

Six (6) incredible entries were apart of this Week Eight of the League. What an awesome blessing it is to listen to the amazing creations this community has to offer.

The winner of the Beat Battle League will be announced on January 2, 2018 winning the championship belt and a good chance of winning the ultimate prize of a trip to Vegas by winning the Steemit Music League championship.

Remember the entries are judged on:

• Sound Quality: does this shit sound crispy, in speakers and headphones, is there cracking or recording errors? How loud can we play it before you notice quality issues? etc

• Technicality: what are the skills you displayed in making this beat? The technical aspects of the your craft. The layers and sounds do they match? How many? etc

• Creativity: how unique your entry is. How well it revolves around the universal theme? O shit we have never heard that sound before? Stuff like that.

And the vibe you created with this beat is so epic and has to raise vibrations of the audience because of the specific sounds you included, the BPM you used, and the high sound quality.

You can hear the sounds so clearly in various types of speakers used. I can’t figure out which sound is my favorite : )

Love these outer space sounds woah it elevates my frequencies to a whole new level.

It is absolutely incredible the change of paces you give us throughout this beat. You give us a little rest when we need it and take us to a new dimension when we have the energy for it. I was engaged throughout the beat and the judges agreed.

Holy smokes man what a way to start off a beat.

After you ease of us into it in the first 0:14 you hit us with such an epic sequence of sounds that raised my energy levels personally to a whole new level.

And then you transition so effortlessly around :45 to the next part of the beat and hit us with that up-tempo vibe and sounds and then BAM bring it in at 1:14 to an EDM club classic.

And holy smokes what a sound (I call it that frog sound) you bring in around 1:44. What an epic way to use this to keep the audience engaged and keep your beat ever-changing.

Love how you can transition so effortlessly between sounds in this beat, it’s an epic cycle you bring the listener through. I don’t know if you change the BPMs throughout but it sure feels that way and that kept me intune and in the moment jamming away.

If only we had Club Steemit up and going, this club hit would be playing and jamming throughout the speakers no doubt getting the audience dancing.

Ayyyyy let’s goooo.

Love how you chopped up the sounds in the first :48 and then had a nice, quick vocal intermission and then to the next level of the beat. Love how on this part of the beat the base is coming in so STRONGGGG. Makes these speakers rattle in the best way :)

And then WHAM switched-it up on us. From 1:27-1:52, love the concept behind it, but for me personally it sounded pretty iffy on the speakers. I am guessing it was due to the sample material and how it was recorded. Because every other part of the beat didn’t sound like it did during that section.

Absolutely love how you switched back at the end and finished it off with your cat and a smoke, so epic.

This concludes the results for Week Eight of the Beat Battle League.

Remember every month the top three (3) Steemians in the Beat Battle League Standings will be able to redeem their points for POINTZ, the cryptocurrency currently in its pre-launch phase.

The top three this past month of @seveaux, @verbal-d, and @shakazula elected to keep their points and maintain their position in the leaderboard.

If next month the top three elect to redeem their points for POINTZ then their score in the leaderboard is reset to 0 and then they can begin the climb back up the standings until Season One of the Beat Battle League concludes on January 2, 2018.

For example, if say on November 2 @beatseb has 420 points through his participation in the Beat Battle League earning him a top three spot.

He has the option to redeem those 420 points for 420 POINTZ and receive them via the Bitshares Network. POINTZ initial pre-launch value is 1 POINTZ for 1 BTS.

That's right the leaderboard not only gives you a chance to win the Beat Battle League Championship belt, it gives you the chance to earn a cross-platform cryptocurrency of value.

Here are the updated standings as of today with @beatseb closing in on the top three only 26 points behind @shakazula for third place.

@seveaux extends his lead over @verbal-d to 58 points which is less than one victory. Anything can happen the many weeks we have left in Season One of the League especially if one of the Top Three in the leaderboard decide to redeem their points then a new spot opens up in the Top Three for the taking.
