Equality without Oneness is a Real Travesty - The Tragic Comedy of "Equality" in Our World Today.

Equality is a funny thing. I believe that as humans, we have the equal right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Since we are not equal in our abilities, we will not be equal in our outcomes and results. So there will be times that some of us will achieve more than the rest of us, but we all should have the freedom to pursue those lofty goals. And if we desire more, then we must be prepared to have to work harder and smarter than those around us to who desire the same.
We can not control what family we were born into, the social economic status of our family, or the country of our birth, but we can keep pressing forward.
I wish you all the best as you take your unique abilities and talents and pursue a better life.

The comment above is an outflow of the post I wrote, "Finland Abandons Universal Basic Income Project After 2 years"

There's a critical point here

"Equality" without "Oneness" is a Real Travesty

It's a Tragic Comedy of "Equality" without "Oneness" in Our World Today

There's an accepted point of "Entitlement" based upon "Ability"

  • Because I am superior in ability, I am entitled to more things...more of everything basically....because my ability on the single basis of "equality" here - makes me "better than you" on the sole basis of "Life Value" being defined from a point of "ability" as "what can you do"

  • This way of thinking is severely limited in life regard. It perpetuates the dissonance in really giving a shit about "Life" for the sake of Life.

  • An interesting thing is this: The superiority mind set comes from deeply suppressed inferiorities and inadequacies. The mind and the general way of things has mostly become a machine/computer of compensation for the deeply suppressed "problems/issues" that mostly remain beneath the surface in the unconscious chambers of mind.

  • The consequence has been "making sense of non-sense" to justify the "ugly truth" that is uncomfortable in fact because it puts you in touch with "humility" and the perhaps "discomforting aspects of your individuality that you've used to define yourself as 'special and unique'. So it's quite an intricate point - because the lengths in which we are capable of going to argue and fight are extensive...as there's this ego bravado in not quitting....not stopping....fighting till the death....sacrifice at all costs."

How does anyone become "superior" in Ability?

  • It requires much resources, time and training. It's not a magical thing.

  • This is a "what the fuck point" that gets missed waaaaay to much - the fact that anyone has very developed abilities and skills is a result of "care taking" ...in that the individual was adequately provided for so that they had the support of a rich environment to assist and support the cultivation of skills and abilities.

  • This thinking of "if you cannot perform"....well than you don't qualify for "the fruits that life has to offer"....is total bullshit.

  • The ability to express skill and ability is a pleasure and joy in and of itself. To think that you require "compensation" for your skill.....like you're a "hero" for having taken the time to learn.....like it must have been a burden and a real sacrifice to increase your skill and ability. I mean this is fucked. "Everybody would like the time and space to develop their skills and abilities. This is basic common sense. Everybody wants to be good at the things their interested in. It's a matter of being afforded the time to PLAY"

"PLAY" is this point of Massive Suppression - The Inferiority and Inadequacy stems for Childhood "Playing"

  • The common consequence is to forget about the importance of "PLAY" in the world....and so become "DULL" as what it means to be an Adult. It's like the constant addition of Dull.....perpetuating itself into a self-entitlement working here that is mostly absent from PLAY.

  • Kids growing up - burdened by their parents and becoming even bigger jackasses than there parents were. All the while thinking there nothing like their lame parents. (It's mostly unconscious).

The World is suppose to be regarded as a Playground.

  • Equality together with Oneness - is Inclusive.

  • Oneness without equality is self-interest in a 'slave/master' way.

We miss the "Value of Life" when we degrade the accounting for life based on "Value" defined in an economics textbook. The whole economy....is like this giant ecosystem where nobody is really included within it. It's like everybody is an outsider looking in....but hardly anybody is looking from the inside out.

  • Each of us is responsible for the play-ground here.

  • You don't get more access to the playground because you're more skilled in a certain thing.

  • The point is that we all live here.

Any body who is truly skilled in Anything...

  • Is a great teacher and helps make others great.

  • We're all teachers and students here - always both.

It makes a lot more sense to me - that living life - should be from the starting point of "self-investigation" - an outflow of what it means to be a child and "play"....exploring questions and curiosities....and from here - learning how things work...and working things out in new and innovative ways as making connections for our collective best benefit.

  • It's about the collective effort here - where the sum is greater than the total of the parts here.

  • Equality without Oneness is useless because you're just existing as a 'self-justifier' or even less than that...someone who doesn't really give a shit...it's like all is free to do whatever there is "desire" for...and this desire and or happiness is not to be questioned. Who could have imagined there would be a real lack of foresight in accounting and regarding anyone else but yourself?

  • Oneness without Equality is the same kind of bullshit as Equality without Oneness.

  • Those who claim they are all about oneness without the mentioning of equality - don't really give a shit about anyone other than themselves. They believe themselves to be superior and enlightened. And are to an extent rather mind-fucked within the continued obsession within being better than everyone - not realizing the deeply ingrained inferiority and inadequacy as how there is a real lack of 'self-value' and thus a detachment from the rest of physical reality. Believing that the physical reality isn't really real and it's about the "after-life". This is like the ultimate delusion.

For the record it's not about throwing anyone under the bus - in saying this or that is fucked...

  • It's about recognizing and realizing what we are doing here.

  • it's not about fighting each other and separating ourselves within the realizations of each other as a finger pointing, 'your a this.....and your a that....and your a so and so......so...blah blah blah blah blah'.

  • It's about coming together in recognizing how we can best create the playground here - from the micro to the macro.

  • It's really all about making this earth a play-house for all life to work. That to me is what it means to, "make things work." It's inclusivity in accommodation.

  • Life as a Playground mentality and way of seeing is very forgiving in nature. It's an outflow of becoming 'self-forgiving'.

To be Continued - this was a rather unexpected posting - but I wanted to take some time to put these things down for my own record

Thanks for tuning in - I will follow up with more personal reflection/introspection

Special Thanks to @sumatranate. Your comment on my previous post is indeed appreciated.

Everyone,

Let Me Know What You Think - Let's keep the discussion going - It's important to communicate about the things that aren't being talked about all that much. When we make a point of addressing the problems - we can in fact get into viable solutions.

My Body is precious and I've decided to care for it. Creating responsibility for my sculpture - my life.

The impression I get from reading this is that in a lot of cases where you use the word 'oneness' - we can also use unity but not in some other cases. This somehow seems important but I am unable to pin point as to why? Maybe if I read the post again I will get the idea.

I have always thought that the word equality has meant a lot of different things at different times. These days people seem to be obsessed with the idea of equality of outcome rather than equality of choice.

unity is a great word. Thanks for mentioning it here. It is indeed the "unity" as both Equality and Oneness together here - it's when there's a union as like equality is this chick and oneness is this dude and they're always banging - I mean like infused together as one. Sum being something greater.

And I think your spot on with the observation on equality by itself meaning so many different things at different times. I think the same is true for oneness on it's own.

It's the creative collaboration of 'oneness and equality' together here that opens up the best potential.

I think that equality is just a word and not functional today in our world. We are all forced to work harder and harder to have more rights more possibilities. Those who work harder or smarter, thise who use and get more benefit from their skills gain more. I think equality passes through oneness.

It's really an interesting observation you make here about work.

We are all forced to work harder and harder to have more rights more possibilities. Those who work harder or smarter, those who use and get more benefit from their skills gain more.

I think this human obsession with work is a result of us unconsciously compensating for all the ways in which things are not working that well in our world here today...and so it's like we are committed and determined to work...to work as our way to fix things....when maybe - perhaps to see how things are not working...and to stop in fact doing all this work we continually are creating...that actually there's another way to go about out approach to work. That being something totally forgotten.

Play.

I think it's about optimizing the regard for Play in this world. Without Play - everything is in vain. I mean we are the creators of the playwright here - we owe it to ourselves to play right by knowing how to work.

Thanks for your comments - you've given me much reflection and I will continue to play with it.

Nice Work!

excellent blog post! Many of the things you state can be brought down by a few words: HUMBLE, WORK, DRIVE, AMBITION etc..

Not all of us can excel at math, art, history etc.. some of us cannot even get to "grade" level because our genetics or minds are just not wired that way. We are born with certain gifts and failures. There is inequality from birth. We can never be "equal", but we can be humble towards others we might think are "inferior". The obvious goal is to come together; to unite. That is the largest ambition for "humankind", and I think we have been wrestling with it since the beginning of time.

Thank you for sharing here!

It's like We're trying to figure out how to have a collective orgasm not realizing how we've been fucking shit up by trying to control and regulate our individual orgasms.

I mean it's science - We're just a bunch of organisms here communicating together.
