Royal Bot Review: @mercurybot the most popular bot to loose to last minute
Oh @mercurybot... how I loath you... always tempting me with a great deal; only at the last minute to have it slashed!
This was my 4th attempt at using @mercurybot. I have not had positive ROI yet.
The @mercurybot has been around since December 2017.
Currently takes 3.5 day bids.
Accepts either SBD or STEEM, with a minimum bid of 0.10.
Will only upvote posts.
It is noisy and will leave a comment after you use it's services.
No advertised way to reach them for customer service.

This was a few people that piled on right at the end of this auction.
Here is a screenshot @ 8:50 when it was profitable then again at 8:51 end of auction.
Here is a copy of the steemworld.org data to show how quick this escalated.
Next I put all of the data together so we can analyze it.
If you notice in green steembottrackers says I should get back .46 after curation but I will only be getting back .2775 SBD.
In purple we have the ROI. THIS number is OFF!! Steembottrackers says I should get a -31.46% ROI when we do the math out it s shows that our actual ROI is -44.5% I haven't found one of these to be on yet!
In red I have circled the vote weight which are off by 0.02% in the bots favor.
Positives: Low entry fee for vote power. Has a post on their page that details their service
Negatives: I have never seen this bot give a positive ROI. People frequently pile in last minute bids on this one and throw is over.
Fine print:
This information was accurate at time of posting, but there is a possibility that the bot owner has changed their code in between when I wrote this and you read it. I will try to keep these up to date but do your diligence before bidding.
I will give you the caution that whenever you use bid-bots you should be prepared to loose part of your investment as people can vote after you and bring your share of the rewards pool down. Always check how the bot performed last round, compare it to how they paid out before you bid and be prepared to potentially loose your investment.

I was thinking about using bot soon,even i will do the research before using any.
Right now is a rough time to be using bidding bot with the price of STEEM fluctuating so rapidly. You can be winning a bid today and loose money over the course of the week if STEEM tanks.
