Steemit reaches Switzerland. How boobs, a plastic whale and a random swiss guy on a beach in Thailand made 3000$ and spread the word of Steemit.com

A true revelation: the birth of a new crypto currency based on a surprising economic scheme. Imagine that by producing your own content you will earn real bucks, in a form of reward, via simple upvotes, you will collect steems.

Can you figure the face i had when i just know about steemit.com? First of all there was Metrox, an hometown friend who has settle back from 7 years in Thailand, in Koh Samui. He made a surprising post on Facebook: He got him shot on the beach riding a plastic whale. ROLF.

At this step, amused, I thought I’ve just dropped a comment like « What’t this platform ?" Or a question alike, but i’ve later realized that I’ve just gave it a simple «like » on his post and it’s a pity. Like most of his FB friends , nobody asked why ? Nor what is Steemit.com. It’s only a few days later that i can finaly reach the swiss guy riding the whale in bikini, not to mention he had already made 3000 fuc… bucks from his shity post. $$$

At this moment I admit that I am as much very curious as septic of the seriousness of the thing. We are made a call via Facebook and Laurent takes the time to explain me of whom consists this new Web platform. We speak during more than one hour, ask to him full of questions. He explains me ten minutes crossed on the beach to make photos hastily, without preparation and why he is astride a whale plastique* (we shall return there). Living for several years in Thailand (Laurent proposes his services of Web website design since his island) he confirms me in his words his ceaseless curiosity on the new technologies, the new uses and all that we can take of it as an advantage in the daily life. I like very much his way of life, very young it dared to live otherwise and under other latitudes. In conclusion, after this long exchange, he seriously tempts me of four things:

1. creating an account on Steemit to test the thing (I decide to make it under my real name to assume the approach)
2. to produce my first article to talk about this discovery, but also to speak about Laurent's adventure
3. to make it in French even if most of the contents are in English, I say myself there is a place to be taken. Ok this post is english! I decided to change myself and translate this post in english too.
4. to promote this platform in Switzerland, platform which totally went unnoticed in the contacts Facebook of our Thai-Swiss! **

As he underlines it very well and I also agree with him, none of our friends and contacts asks himself the question of Laurent's post: why does he does pose in bra seating on a whale? But that is it Steemit? Why to promote it?

Beyond the question, there is especially a reflection to say to himself that it is can be not possible to continue so with « all free » contents on the Web. Just like the Swiss group Tamedia which tries to sell its titles, a report (not necessarily admitted) is being made. The value is less and less made on the contents and more on the communities. Microsoft which buys back LinkedIn does not acquire a platform, but a community, a database. Expensive, expensively, very very expensive, but what to say about profits

I thus want to believe that it is time, like Laurent, to be rewarded in his just value when we contribute to producing some contents. Yes if I use tags "breasts" or " boobs " it is not accidentally, I have to, as the approach of our Swiss friend, bring the customer to discover its publication. It is a thing made a success for him because he does not stop receiving votes and thus money. Case to be followed because he decided to continue to feed his "blog" with other surprises!

Shall I have the same cover as him? These next few hours will tell.
