When we first started this community of #steem-cartoon, we never expected it to pick its pace so fast. We are thankful for those who stood by us and made this all possible. This community is still at its infancy and we are hopeful that this community will continue to grow and give all cartoonist a platform for a better reach.

Community Reach

It was sometime this week that #steem-cartoon took it to steem community in an appeal for contribution towards a fellow cartoonist that we know as @aie. He has registered the username and was prepared to start his posting when his health went south. Aie was one of the most recognisable talent in the Malaysian Comic industry before he succumbed to his health issues. He is currently undergoing dialysis and other medical treatment for his heart and kidneys.

To those that have donated generously, we thank you from the bottom of our heart. There will be a proper disclosure of the people that have placed on trust with @sireh their contributions in the form of Steem Dollars or Steem. To avoid any allegation of foulplay, on top of the donation by the public, we will top up with our personal donation and the money that is donated to Aie will be properly documented.

For those who are reading this, your generous contribution be it in the form of upvotes or direct contribution through SBD or Steem is most welcomed.

In the creation of this community, we are also committed towards educating the masses and also the aspiring artists or cartoonists the finer parts of the trade. We wish to thank @jaynie and @zord189 for their effort in lending us their amplifier to promote our effort in showcasing @steem-cartoon and at the same time gather support for the charity effort in favour of @aie. The people in #steemitbloggers have been extremely generous and supportive and this we attribute it to good teamwork and leadership. We will never forget our friends.
