Steemit Music League Update
A lot of movement this week in the standings of the Steemit Music League Leaderboard.
The Steemit Music League had eleven (17) incredible entries from Steemians all over the globe apart in last week's challenges and league with eight (8) epic entries for this current week of the Steemit Music League (SML).
Currently, the Steemit Music League includes the Steemit Music League Challenge and the Beat Battle League. The winner is determined by the amount of points earned through League contests and challenges.
Below are the updated standings of the Steemit Music League as of today with the winner being announced on January 2, 2018 with the champion winning a trip to Las Vegas.
At the moment @beatseb leads the Steemit Music League by 113 points over the former leader @seveaux from the Netherlands.
As you can see above there is a pack of Steemians charging hard up the leaderboard with @a4v and @djlethalskillz both closing in on the Top Three being 4th and 5th place respectively.
Other big movers are @hilladigahackles moving into 7th place with @hfigueroa, @baserod, and @termitemusic rounding out the Top Ten of the Steemit Music League respectively.
The Steemit Music League is a community built by the community for the community with the goal of providing the most feedback, recognition, and rewards and possible all while bringing Steemians together.
As a result the Steemit Music Alliance Discord channel was born.
You can connect with other community members, get beats and tracks demoed, and even listen to entries with others live via the SMA bot. Live DJing courtesy of @seveaux and @djlethalskillz coming soon as well.

The Beat Battle League is in Week #12 and is a weekly beatbattle challenge that the music producers and beatboxers of Steemit can produce an entry based off a theme or sampled material for that week.
This week's theme is California Living. Prize pool is 46 SBD, Whaleshares, and other cryptocurrencies such as Voiceshares and SMOKE.
Week #12 of the Beat Battle League is accepting submissions until Friday night, November 17th with the results being announced on the 18th.

The Steemit Music League Challenge is an open music contest for rappers, MCs, singers, vocalists, and producers. Basically if you have a passion for music you can submit an entry every week.
Each week's theme changes with some nice switch-ups coming up . The prize pool is 46 SBD, Whaleshares, and other cryptocurrencies such as SMOKE and Voiceshares
The #smlchallenge is in Week Seven currently with the theme being Video Games this week.

Also there is a new third contest created by @seveaux called the Get A Record Contest that the Steemians in the music community can participate in.
Just announced yesterday, it brings producers who have beats and vocalists who have vocals together. The end result being synergy, a mixed and mastered record, and a shot at the 50 SBD prize pool.

The entries are outstanding! I'm fully aware I don't have a chance for this week's challange, but I just wanted to experiment still.
I've been a bit busy these past days, but I managed to put this one together. I wanted to actually try again with a different game, but not this time.
My entry is inspired by Dunk Hunt developed and published by Nintendo in the mid '80s. Something about shooting the ducks and the clay pigeons with the NES Zapper was satisfying. The gameplay is very simple, yet addictive.
For this challange, I sampled only the sounds of the game. There was a bit more I wanted to do with the beat, but I just left it as is.

I purposely hid it. I'm not that impressed with the final outcome. lol thanks though!

The Duck Hunt was such a classic game and you definitely did it justice with this one. Love how you bring those sounds in at :15 and at :26 o weee. Such an awesome and engaging way to integrate and create this Video Game inspired beat.

It's good to see the submitted tracks become all better and better each week and people entering more and more aswel.. Thnx to you I got inspired to be a producer again and with the innitiative we combine the force to build the environment for the community.. I sended fuzzy a message btw and that you will hold my back in the whaletank this week... so that's all set now.. Btw because @chiefmappster ad I work behind the scenes on a bigger thing for all of us musiclovers and creators I had little time to make something phat enough to keep on going kicking your asses in these contests but I will be back to bring some knockouts next week... As long as @beatseb is here, you are safe because he's 1 here, the alpha producer :P

Im loving how all is being elevated by the day and the community is growing with amazing like minded artists, also the content and presentation of both #beatbattle and @smlchallenge are heading to next level from the way u presenting the initiatives to all the new additions happening i.e. the Steemit Music Alliance, Radio thing on discord and more contests @seveaux for musicians and vocalists to coallborate.
