Beat Battle League Week #11 Results

Zombie. Zombie. Zombie. ZOMBIE DROPPPPP.

What an epic week in the Beat Battle League with ten (10) different Steemian producers creating entries based off of the theme Zombie Apocalypse. This week had such high-quality entries from everyone it made judging this week such a joy.

• Sound Quality: does this shit sound crispy, in speakers and headphones, is there cracking or recording errors? How loud can we play it before you notice quality issues? etc

• Technicality: what are the skills you displayed in making this beat? The technical aspects of the your craft. The layers and sounds do they match? How many? etc

• Creativity: how unique your entry is. How well it revolves around the universal theme? O shit we have never heard that sound before? Stuff like that.

I can see why you call yourself Audio 4 Video o weeeee.

You match this epic beat with the video you created so effortlessly. It matches so freakin well and really helps to reinforce the message of your entry.

That first 1:11 of the video is so perfect man it builds up the audience both visually with the classic film and the beat build-up.

And then the beat goes sooooo hardddd. This section from 1:11-1:40 gave me so much energy.

Love that worm crawling out of the Jason mask at 2:03 o weee is that creepy.

Everything about this beat screams Zombie Apocalypse and the judges agreed the way you created this beat with all the sounds, layers and sequences in it is top notch. And the video is the icing on the cake.

You definitely let us know why they call you Audio 4 Video.

Ayyyyyyyy this beat is freakin incredible.

Love those dope fog horns setting that end of world feel right off the start and then how you turn the beat up a notch at 0:23.

My favorite part is between 1:04 and 1:13 that energy it creates almost feels like a Zombie Spartan pre war pump-up song.

You provide so much energy in this beat and still provide that Zombie coming out the graveyard feel to it. Such an awesome ability in my opinion and it definitely showed in the scores.

You have so many different dope sequences like from 2:08-2:28 that show off your musical ability and provide such a Zombie Apocalypse feel to it. Truly incredible. All you are missing from that top spot is an epic video matching your beat : )

This beat hits so harddddddddd and you build up to the “drop” at :24 so well.

And when this beat hits it hits hard and my speakers know that first-hand.

You combine that ghostly feel with that strong bass to create this Zombie trap.

The judges loved this beat and you score is a result man congrats.

Something about this beat makes it so catchy and engaging while still giving it that ghastly Zombie feel to it.

Holy Zombie Apocalypse classic.

You combine so many classic zombie elements from 7+ zombie elements into this beat holy smokes.

I love how you give us those breaks throughout the beat like between 0:48-57 to really reiterate the Zombie theme.

Those screams and vocals like “let the power of Christ compel you” add such depth to this already creepy Zombie beat.

And the sound quality man o man does it sound so clear and crispy.

Finally that artwork holy smokes man there is so much incredible details and imagery in the artwork you created. I am so captivated by those creepy eye glaring at me and that pyramid radiating above it. And you have all the colors intertwined in this artwork so amazingly.

Appreciate all the time and effort and weary neighbors to create this beast of a beat and corresponding artwork.

You dominated this theme.

You have the awesome vivid Zombie scene for the first 30 seconds and then you go innnnnn. Love that change-up and it radiates some energy that is for sure.

And love how the zombie growls serves as the transition until the next switch-up at 1:04.

This would serve as a perfect backdrop building up suspense in a movie as this beat really creates a certain mood and energy about it.

Such an epic way to end a Zombie beat with the gun shot and scream.

This entry embodies Zombie Apocalypse in every way holy smokes.

Dope, professional intro with those epic warning horns and radio signals setting the tone immediately.

Epic Zombie-related sample usage that integrated so nicely with the flow of your beat.

And incredible artwork that helps paint the Zombie picture you are sharing with your Walking Dead inspired beat.

My favorite part is when you change-it up at 1:06 gave that fresh burst of energy. It kept me engaged throughout all those zombie sounds. Myself personally, I would want more of that in a full-length beat so that an artist could spit on it and the audience could keep more fully engaged.

Wow does this do the Zombie Apocalypse theme justice.

Incredible sample choices and you intertwined them with your sounds seamlessly in my opinion. That centrifuge sound gives it such a Zombie feel to it.

My favorite part is the switch-up at :58. You got the scream and then the beat changes and I love the vibe and energy from it.

Another big mover is @a4v moving into 4th place only a few victories away from a spot in the Top Three. Also, @baserod, @djlethalskillz, and @sidibeat moved into the Top Ten of the League respectively.

Anything can happen the many weeks we have left in Season One of the League especially if one of the Top Three in the leaderboard decide to redeem their points then a new spot opens up in the Top Three for the taking.
