It's In Your Head, Zom-bay, Zom-bay, Zom-bay-ay-ay-ay-oh-oh: yay more stoner rock
I don't know if this is something that is common with everyone or not, but I seemingly wake up with a song already in my head every single morning. There is often no reason why it should be there. I hadn't heard it in the previous day, hadn't discussed it, nothing.
TODAY'S ENTRY:
UNCLE ACID AND THE DEAD BEATS - Death's Door
This is a very catchy stoner rock song. It sounds pretty shitty, so I'm not sure if that's your thing or not. They're one of those intentionally lo-fi / old sounding bands. There are so many obscure bands who played this style closer to the time of its origin that I wonder if we'd be better off researching constantly to uncover all of those bands instead of getting into the new ones who are rehashing the same thing.
I sound more jaded than I mean to. ha. I like these retro bands... it's just funny in a way to spend so much effort in looking and sounding like you're from the late 1960s.
Also, I love this song, so I didn't mean to shit on it. :)
Strange times we live in. Strange times.
Do you wake up with songs in your head on a regular basis? What song was in your head this morning? Comment below, I'd love to hear from you!

I often get songs I can't shift out of my head - usually tuneless garbage from U2, George Michael, Bowie etc, that annoy the hell out of me
Stopped reading your list when I got down to Huey Lewis - who's not too bad, but not what I chose to listen to
It's in my head now
I can't shift it
Time for some head banging 'Glam Rock' I think
Yeah
