This is a weekly overview of my personal handicapping and live betting results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League with some insights on my overall approach.

The Winter break which I have been looking forward to for some time is finally here. These last couple weeks have made it painfully clear that there simply is not enough time to fully put my mind on all thing things I want to do. For many years, Sports Betting has been one of the main priorities in life. Some years back I started putting a lot more time into my health, actively doing a lot more sports and taking my time to only eat healthy self-made meals. Around 6 months ago I really started to get involved in the crypto space which first took quite some time to properly understand and now takes even more time now just to keep up with. Steemit also came along the way which I saw as a way to combine my Sports Betting activity with Crypto, but I highly underestimated how addictive this platform is and what it takes to actually build something up here. So the next couple weeks during the winter break I plan on doing a lot of thinking and set my priorities straight. If I follow my feelings, I would love to go all out on Steemit and use it as an excuse to stay inside my comfort bubble. The more rational part of my brain tells me to first put a lot more time into my social life which has pretty much been on hold for quite some time.

As for how betting went this round, I was a bit more careful on the stakes because I didn't really want to risk having a big loss the end the year and my focus has not been 100%. Overall it was quite solid and I'm glad to end the first part of the season with a 10k profit and a very healthy overall ROI. I will be moving up in stakes at the start of 2018 which might cause some big swings in the overall chart.

Well done again. I know how you feel with regard to re-setting priorities and I'm doing something similar. There is just never enough hours in the day to fit everything in.

thats a lot of holidays for 3 weeks for you :) personally, i think its hard to maintain all part of life , for results its better to focus on something 1 . So if you want social life then u need to stop lets say betting for few weeks and so on . Good luck mate in new 2018 year hope this year will be without big swings and roi high !,

I think I would be pretty happy with that kind of a result. You are proving your mettle on that.

And, by the way, I owe you a huge THANKS!, and maybe a boatload of upvotes I suppose, for helping me get off my ass and get my SBD traded in for SP when you did. Man, that was a good call, and I really benefited greatly. Feel free to kick me in my lazy butt again whenever you see fit. :)
