The upswing continues with another great week. It must be said that I take quite a lot of 2.3+ odds which brings along bigger variance. This results in big gains when it goes up, but at the same time not much is needed for it to go down really hard. It's all about the long term and these type of odds tend to deliver just that if you know what you are doing. I moved up a bit in stakes at the start of October which should see the pink expected profit line go up faster.

One of my favorite betting setup I talked about in the Week 7 Results occured again in the Kortrijk vs Oostende match. This time it lost but was an excellent position to be in regardless.

Another situation where it is possible to pile up bets without increased risk happened this week in the Moeskroen vs Mechelen match on the corners market. There was a total pre-game mismatch based on the season statistics so far and Mechelen got a +1 ck handicap line when the market opened live. Limits are quite small and I took whatever was available. At the 9 minute mark and 0-0 in corners, Moeskroen scored the 1-0. This made the handicap line on corners for Mechelen go to -1 which I instantly took extra on. Since the +1 bet now had a much smaller chance of losing, it allowed to have an overall bigger stake on this outcome while the risk to lose a lot did not really increase. With Mechelen being the team that naturally gets more corners and them pushing against a team in the lead that goes back it quickly went to 0-4 in corners for Mechelen. At this point, both the +1 and -1 bet were as good as won which allowed for extra bets. So I took more on -1 at 0-4 and used the same principle at 0-7. At this point I had 4 bets on basically the same result with little to no risk. At 0-8 I switched to betting the over to get even more volume in while at the same time protecting previous bets in case Moeskroen would have a random streak of corner kicks. This match is a perfect example how it is sometimes possible to pile up bets with live betting while keeping the risk small creating a "Win a Lot, Lose a Little Jackpot Situation" with the odds on your side. I did not win the jackpot as the match ended 0-9 in corners, but went 4W-1L-1P in bets wagering almost 4x my regular stakes in total.
