Message of the day - Jan 10, 2018 - "Every thought creates my future"

My morning free writing brought me more light to some old pattern that makes me keep a low profile, make myself invisible and kinda hide from the world whenever I actually need to do the opposite.

I hope that by bringing awareness to this I will be able to replace it with a new program that supports my growth and evolution.

Anyways, the 3 keys I got for today are:

It's safe to be me.

I have the right to be here and now.

I choose to shine and share my gifts with the world.

The Soul Solution for a potential pitfall triggered by a person in a bad state was:

"Breathe deeply and see the person that troubles you as she is.

Acknowledge their state, but stay away. You don't have to fix or save anyone, you can just hold space for them so they can come out of their bad state by themselves.

The Louise Hay card I picked up is

"Every thought I have creates my future."

And on the back of the card it says:

The Universe supports every thought I choose to think and believe in. I have unlimited choices for what I think. I choose balance, peace and harmony and I express them in my life.

Looking at the keys and at the card I picked up it makes total sense. If I choose thoughts that say "I should stay hidden", "I don't have the right to be seen or heard", "I should keep a low profile" of course the Universe will respond to them by bringing me situations where I will feel invisible, unseen, unheard.

If on the contrary I work on removing these thoughts and replace them with new ones that encourage me to speak my truth, show myself as I am, get out there and show my work to people then the Universe will respond by making me feel seen, heard, understood.

The issue I have had for all my life was that one part of me wanted to do things, be visible, express herself, take risks, be brave and another part was cautious and shy and pulled me back to "safety".

I guess everyone has these two voices or sides of themselves that push and pull in different directions. Now depending on which one is stronger we will behave more in the direction of one than of the other.

Of course, sometimes is wiser to listen to the cautious voice that keeps us from doing stupid things that endanger our lives.

But when it comes to actions that don't really threaten our lives, like making a career change, ending a relationship, work related or a friendship that no longer serves us or moving to a new country we need to silence the shy voice and nurture the bold one.

Because otherwise we will end up regretting and wondering "what if..."...which is a terrible place to be.

So instead we should develop our discerning awareness and realise when we need to push through our fears and old programming and when to tone it down a notch. Like with everything else, we get better at this skill through a lifelong work on it.
