Go Green Expo (The Sustainable Lifestyle Show) - What Company's Are Attending The Auckland Show #1 - Transportation

in #makeithealthy6 years ago (edited)

With only three more sleeps till the first day of the Go Green Expo and the Better Food Fair in Auckland I'm kinda cutting it fine sharing which company's that will be attending, with Easter was thinking there was a bit more time.

First shared a post about this event six days ago Here with asking the question would anyone would like to know before hand a brief about some of the company's attending so we could ask them some questions on your behalf if we had time as there was at that time of the post Two Hundred and Fourteen company's gone back today to go thru the company's to find some new one's there, so now there is a total of Two Hundred and Seventeen Company's with only a few more days to go, there still could be some more added.
@ravenruis wanted to see a run down of the company's before hand, so we will try to do as many as we can that will fit into two posts a day.

We also wanted to cover some company's that fitted the criteria for Eco that weren't attending the show also, that may have to wait till after the show.

With looking at how many, wasn't surer weather to go alphabetical or in categories they had, as searching thru the categories a lot of the company's were in two or more, so we'll try to share the main categories and try to catch the doubles.

Lets start with the Transportation categories that doesn't have many company's....

Transportation

Autolink EV

Apparently they are the largest importer, in NZ, of the Nissan Leaf 100% Electric Car according to their two page website, couldn't really find any information about when the company started or a mission statement, they did have straight to the point information easy to read about charging electric cars, Selling points of Nissan Leaf's, and Customer feedback.
If your worried about the environment and the damage petrol emissions does or even the cost of petrol one alternative may be a Nissan Leaf with not needing a drop of petrol to run, and zero emissions.

e-Bike Centre

Another website with only a front page and store, with no mission statement or about the company when they started - with saying that on their website they do have 2018 copyright, weather they just started or they update that every year unsure.

Is a French company started in 2007 by Mr Wilfried Dunand and his dad Jacques Dunand, Flying Cat NZ Ltd is a subsidiary created by Deborah Greenwood, and is based in Napier, New Zealand.
With keeping the range small with only five different e bikes with there main mission being to provide high quality e-bikes, of original design and color, at a competitive and accessible price.
With nine years in the industry it shows they have paid attention to keeping it small but packing a punch with their website having about, mission statement, connecting with customers and retailers to stock their bikes across France and New Zealand via trade shows.

Each bike they stock has so many details of Frame, Fork, Saddle, Max load, Transmission, Brakes front/rear, Wheel, Battery, Charger, Engine, Max speed, Autonomy, Nbre of cycles, Charge time, Total weight, Warranty.

GVI Electric

Apparently GVI Electric is New Zealand’s Largest Electric Vehicle Dealership according to the blurb on the Go Green Expo Exhibitor Directory blurb, also they won New Zealand’s EV Sales and Service Champions Award recently.
GVI Electric seems to be by their website copyright they started in 2016, that may just of been when they started the website.
If your like us and think that EV's are just for small family's we are totally wrong they even cater for larger family's up too 7 Seat EV option with the Nissan e-NV200 Combi and a 4x4 SUV alternative with the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.

One section they are still working on with the website but there is a lot of information to browse thru on the FAQ page, their selection of cars is quite huge full up 5 pages, with hand picking cars from their suppliers in Japan and the United Kingdom with new and used Electric cars.

Thanks for doing this :)

I guess this could be found out via their websites, but I'd be wanting to know what sort of mileage the vehicles do.

We have had two electric charging stations put in around town (that I know of), so I wonder just how far they can be expected to go, and how long it takes to recharge each time.
