Patterns. It is all patterns. I could blather on about how I came to this knowledge, but it seems to have just been an emergent knowing after years of falling down rabbit hole. I cannot personally take credit for this knowing.

All of magick ritual boils down to a very simple pattern. These steps may look different in content, but are all basically the same in form. Yes you can pick apart all the stories and come up with many many variations of this pattern, but when it comes down to it, it all follows this same pattern. This pattern also coincides with the Hero’s Journey.

Define your points and the relationship between those points - Meet your Companions

Set Your Intention - Descent

Generate, Amplify, and Anchor Energy to Intention - Supreme Ordeal

Leap into the Unknown- Rescue From Without/Ascent/Getting the Magick Elixer or Sacred Knowledge

This is not just how to cast a spell, or the Hero’s Journey. This pattern can be seen in everything we do. It is who we are. It is what we are. It is in everything, everywhere. It is the Christ Pattern. How the pattern expresses itself is only determined by the energy you put in to it. What this means...I don’t know. At the moment I am working on processes and ways of taking the knowing of this pattern and applying it in everything from intentional community building, to business coaching and conflict resolution.
