Greeter Fairy greeting list

I have assigned Greeter Fairy Team @belenguerra @besticofinder @girolamomarotta @tocho2 to greet newcomers that are outside of Newcomers' Community by inviting them to introduce themselves in Newcomers Community and hopefully they will enroll in the program that we have prepared for the newcomers.
Here is the list of the newcomers that our Greeter Fairies have greeted and invited this week.
There are a total of 153 Newcomers on the greeting list for this Week 4 of September.

Graduation day for Newcomers Achievement Program

4 newcomers have graduated from this program.

This week, we have received 2 more newcomers posts that have finished all their achievement tasks and that make a total of 13 newcomers under review for graduation.
We will hold the Graduation Ceremony at the end of every month from now onwards.

Steem Greeters Team Monthly Update and Progress

For the month of September, The Steemit Team have commissioned more Country Representatives and I'm glad that most of them are interested in helping with the project of The Steem Greeters Team.

• I have been guiding and briefing works that we been doing in the project in The Steem Greeters discord server. I'm grateful for existing steem greeters member that being helpful explaining in more details on their roles and tasks too.
• I have given some idea on how to curate for more sytematic and fair as possible using the Steemit Community accounts that being trusted to Country Representatives for specific region.
• I also have propose on delegating 500sp or more steem power to one community account so this community can reach 500K SP and can be self sustainable.
• As an effort on retention rate, I have launched few programs to support the newcomers such as following:

Team Member progress

• The members of Steem Greeters Team been doing great for the first 2 weeks of the month. At the middle of the month, some members have real life issue and cannot carry their roles and responsibilities well. I have asked them to inform me if they have some real life issue and cannot doing their part,so I can assign someone else to cover their task on their absence.
• I hope each of team members carry out their role as assigned so the project can move smoothly. I particularly need the weekly update on each of the newcomers status so we get to know the data of how many are still active. With the plan of @neerajkr03 on developing tools to track the newcomers soon to materialized, this manual labor of tracking the newcomers will be exchange with follow up by commenting and upvoting the newcomers in the list.
• I hope our Country Representatives could manage their time properly and allocated time enough for their family too, some came to me sharing about how their relationship with their spouse affected because they allocated too much time on working in the community of steemit. My advise is work smartly and efficiently..
• I would appreciate it if any of you Country Representatives that been given a role in the project of steem greeters team could inform us about your inability to perform your task because of some of your real life situations. This is so we can assign your task to other team members to cover on your behalf during your absence.
• I would revise the team members of The Steem Greeters Team every month from now onwards as some members did not perform the task assigned to them and make the progress/work in project got hiccups.

Next plan

We have high hope on @neerajkr03 on the development of Tracking of Newcomers activities so The Greeters Fairy Team could focus on commenting and inviting the dormant users to be active and also encourage the active users who have lack interaction with the community to keep on engaging with the community members and participate in lots of activities that going on in the community.

We will try our best on retaining the newcomers and improving the retention rate by spreading the words about ongoing contest that running on Steemit and will come up with more plan on how to reward most active users by giving them delegation for some period of time. @steem.history has offered to delegate total of 3000SP to The Steem Greeters team project, so we could make good use of this offer soon.

We will look into improving the communication and coordination among The Steem Greeters Team and other Country Representatives, then gradually to other community of steem blockchain so we all can work harmoniously toward the same goal, recruit, retention and reward the members of Steem Community.

Country Representatives of Japan

I honestly didn't do much on my roles as country reps for Japan actually, the most I could do was to encourage them keep on posting their content on Steemit and joining any contests that they have interest on. There is still small number of Japanese speaking users and foreigner that living in Japan on Steemit.
I think I need to setup a community for Japan Community and organize a contest that focusing more on introducing places and activity in Japan that Steemian in Japan can write on. For example, what foods that famous during fall season in Japan and where do you usually go to get this? For now, including me, there are only about 8 steemian from Japan that I know still active on steemit.
For promotion of steemit, I can only do online promotion and hopefully other online friends living in Japan will see this and interested to be part of Steem Community.
