The Only Spam I Will Upvote
Spam is a reality of life at Steemit, and mostly I scan past it and move on. @meesterboom has always found ways to deal with it, but lacking his visually creative strengths, I was unable to come up with anything of my own. Then I remembered the gods themselves. Okay the next best thing to the gods - Monty Python.
Wife: I don't want ANY spam!
Man: Why can't she have egg bacon spam and sausage?
Wife: THAT'S got spam in it!
Man: Hasn't got as much spam in it as spam egg sausage and spam, has it?
....
Wife (shrieks): I don't like spam!
The Steemit version of the example I posted above would probably go like this:
Wife: I don't want ANY spam!
Man: Why don't you want a Nice Post, Vote For Me?
Wife: THAT'S got spam in it!
Man: Hasn't got as much spam in it as Nice Post, Follow Me, Upvote Me, and here is a link to my own post blah blah blah...
Anyway, hope you like my nice post.

Thanks for bringing up fond memories of my youth! Loved Monty Python growing up! Definitely influenced my creative path.
Monty Python were a source of sanity for me growing up. Their absurdist poking at the absurd reality all around. Glad you can appreciate this work of art.

Did you see the Super Bowl? One of the ads was for Spam. Yes, the real thing!
I might have only appeared in the Canadian feed, which I was watching, but the Spam was there!
I'm not in North America so I didn't see the Super Bowl, but it amuses me to hear that Spam advertised their product during the broadcast. Does that make it paid spam?
Trust me: Spam paid plenty for the ad. So yes, it was paid spam.
That's a lot of SPAM, egg, SPAM, SPAM, bacon and SPAM sandwich's they'd need to sell to pay for that add then!
Ahahaha! The Monthy Python mention alone automatically gave this a 100% vote. Man, those spammers... I think they've learned their lesson months ago, and now we're in the cusp of a whole other level of trolling.
There are definitely varying degrees of spam, some even skim through your post for keywords first. Man has a point!
