There are many ways to enjoy the healing properties of herbs!

From taking them raw to including them in cooked dishes to making compresses and poultices from them, there are several ways to get potent compounds from nature into your body to maximize health.

Hydration is super mega giga über important, so one of our favorite ways to enjoy herbs is in beverages. Every day, make hot tea from our dried or fresh herbs. We also activate our filtered water with handfuls of herbs. The water tastes delicious, which encourages drinking enough for proper hydration, plus active oils and phytonutrients imbue the water with life force properties. 

In today's food formula, we will share a quick and easy recipe for a limeade that can be fully customized with any number of herbal additions! We grow lots of lemon thai basil (it actually pops up like weeds), and the citrusy flavor pairs nicely with the lime juice. You can also use any variety of mint or even lavender for a fancy pants refreshment!

I chuckled when you had Lavender more of a 'fancy pants' herb than Thai basil. There's no arguing that they both are top-notch, though! I'll hoist a glass of sumac-ade with borage flowers and spearmint! :D

Someone said "Basil"? :). I have a tip: Pineapple juice with mint in the morning and fasting is a wonder.

That sounds excellent! We are fans of fasting. Delicious beverages infused with herbs can make it a real treat!

This looks so appealing right now. I've got to try this.
