There are healthful, accessible, cheap or free options for optimizing wellness, and many of them come straight from nature's wildcrafted medicine chest!

Today, we share the incredible healing properties of mint!

Mint is a very hardy plant. We grow 7 varieties: spearmint, peppermint, English mint, lime mint, orange mint, pineapple mint, and lemon mint, and there are many, many more types! In fact, many plants from rosemary to lemon balm are part of the mint family, Lamiaceae.

Mint is used extensively for its aromatic and culinary properties, but it is also a powerful healer! Adding this beautiful herb to your cooking, raw dishes, or teas is an easy way to familiarize yourself with the healing properties of plants. It is very easy to grow and deserves a spot in every herb garden.

We hope you are inspired to use this herb prolifically! It grows so well that you will be able to utilize it frequently and enjoy its healing benefits, soothing smell, and great taste.

So much more of this needs to come out here! Good to see you have done some of it already. All for one and one for all! Namaste :)

Yes, I wrote about it in a recent post. Mint is a great plant.

one of my favourite plants and one I use lots. Here in Egypt is widely used for all stomach ailments - mint tea! I buy loads of it each week from the farmers market and its gone within a day or two, we all drink it .
Great post promoting this wonderful plant :)

Thank you! You might consider growing it if you use that much of it. It spreads easily and grows quickly! It's definitely a great starter plant even for people who don't consider themselves gardeners.

unfortunately i am only here for work and short time - no where to grow - got loads of it back home in the UK in my garden, thankfully.

I'm often thinking of more ways to use mint. Can't get enough.

Oh man, mint is such a wonderful plant here. Never knew there was so many varieties.

There are so many great mints. I never understand people being worried that mint will start spreading. I say let it spread into lawns.
