In fact, our Eden Knights inspired Quinn to enter the Steemit Food Challenge as well, and he made dinner and dessert in 15 minutes for 15 people...in the dark, cooking over a rocket stove. EPIC!!
We feel confident in our entries to these competitions, and we're especially grateful for the chance to build community here on our dear Steemit.

We served our CHEEZY WHIPPED CAULIFLOWER with a hot skillet full of JALAPEÑO OKRA CORNBREAD. We'll share the food formula for our cornbread in an upcoming post!

This is a really great recipe--loved by all the Eden Knights. We love it as much as we loved mashed potatoes, which is to say a LOT! How about a carrot puree made separately then swirled in the cauliflower at the last minute. That would be a beautiful, sweet and healthful addition to this dish.. Ooooo the possibilities!!
GREAT idea!! Maybe with some yummy fried okra on the side...yum!!

Yes, "simple" is a change of pace for us, since our style is usually layer upon layer of dankness. But simple has it's place, and this dish is absolutely delicious and comforting!
I usually don't like cauliflower anything... but when I tried some of the above, I thought it was some form of delicious cheesy mash potatoes! So for the people who normally wouldn't try this - try this - it's very tasty and unlike anything else I've experienced (culinarily speaking).
Hot, creamy, comforting, hearty, and seriously it's not too cauliflowery. We love it!
Any combination of creamy melty cheeses work great for this formula. Try different varieties and tell us how it turned out. It would be awesome to see some pics of what you make too.

That is such an excellent and amazing idea. I've heard of cauliflower shepherd's pie or using it as a pizza crust, but I've never seen it like this. I can't wait to try it!

Wifey likes this and makes it sometimes. Of course, we need cauliflower to make it happen, which isn't currently growing in our garden. :)
It's a favorite around here, so we give thanks when we have an abundance of cauliflower!
Cauliflower is such an under-appreciated vegetable. It doesn't like any stress in its life, like too much heat or being short of water. It's a good plant for thinking about the benefits of reducing stress all around us! Yay, cauliflower!
