I didn't sleep well last night so I won't be able to process much, but without listening to your podcast yet, I can tell you one of the reason why God of War is so popular because it defies the happy ending & boring love story where the protagonist always end up with the girl he loves..
So the ending is beautiful women win against any God of War. 😆
Hahaha... not the case for God of War series so far... but maybe for the new GOW game... I hope someone will post the entire game on YouTube so I can enjoy it
Just search for Game Of War walkthrough. They recorded the entire game. I normally look for Game Of War scene to see the whole story line.
For me, I would gladly watch the entire walkthrough.. but it could take days to watch tough.. hehehe
That's definitely one of the reasons that works for God of War. I do like Happy endings though when it works for the particular story.
I prefer a bit of anarchy... happy endings make everything too predictable.. Take Marvel Infinity war for example, we already know that Thanos will eventually assemble the infinity gauntlet and we can more or less predict where and how he will attain the infinity stones... and we also know that in Part 2, he will beat the crap out of everyone and will eventually loose the battle
God of War is a lot less predictable which is why it is well loved....
Well, I would like to comment but that would just render my podcast episode void :p
hahaha....
