That I do! In lieu of writing something productive yesterday I wrote in the comments about how bummed I was that I was too sick to play DnD with my friends but that I’m excited that I’m about to DM for the first time.
I’ve definitely thought about writing DnD mini adventures on Steemit though I don’t know who the hell would read them...
@malloryblythe I think there are a lot of us on here. The crossover between social and writer appeals to Steemians and DnDians

@malloryblythe I write World of Darkness adventures and play in DnD campaigns that others lead. I have yet to try my hand at writing DnD, but am excited to do so!

I went full Tinder Hoe for this selfie hahah. I couldn't think of anything else since I'm so far from Arrow :( I often look at him when he's barking at some guy sneezing two house down and just beg and plead with him to stop . And I think how he can never know that we just want him to stop because it stresses our neighbors and creates tension over him alerting us to nothing. I also think about how it may be similar to my relationship to the universe- it doesn't want to yell at me or give me a spanking (Arrow gets the weakest little one pat spanking ever- I WISH life spanked me that softly lol) but I just don't understand the larger context and keep acting out from a place of not understanding. Fighting for my right to bark at unnecessary things and I probably stress the universe out about its neighbors or something . If only he were a talking dog that would learn English for me. And if only I were capable of speaking the language of energy and infinite cause and effect...

Ohhhh the beautiful freewrites. They take us to different worlds, different ideas with a million different characters. Out of nowhere red scarf holds meaning, stetson reminds me of my neighbor, and paint leads to a ongoing series I never dreamed I could write.
Today's prompt talking dog made me laugh out loud, and brainstorm all day about the endless possibilities. But I kept falling back on how these prompts bring out a creative side I didn't know existed, and how grateful I am! They remind me of dream sequences like in Gilligan's Island where the characters can become anything. Then I realize, as writers, we can create anything! The sky's the limit, and I hope that everyone here continues to build and build!

Eeek! I did some "cartoon" filter on the photo before doing the snapchat 'dogs' filter and it just looks like I rubbed coffee grounds all over myself. I suppose that might be one way to get some caffeine??? Anyway puppy boobies:
I don’t get the whole “insult” where guys are called dogs in a derogatory way. I'm not currently addressing the "Dawg" type comments, but the old school 'men are such dogs' thing.
I mean, have you MET dogs? They’re loyal as hell, are happy to cuddle with you and will do just about anything they can think of to make you happy. That sounds like a GREAT man to me. Hell, a great human of any kind.
They’re generally fairly happy and seem to encourage healthy habits like not eating too much (don’t tell me they don’t try and get you to share your food. See? They’re just trying to get you to eat a little less = healthy = they care.) and they also encourage exercise more than any guy I’ve dated.
That being said, I suppose when it comes to talk dogs, I just think of the horribly ill fitting term of calling asshole men ‘dogs’ and that brings to mind all of those horribly cheesy, stupid pick up lines that they try to catch your interest. The fake flattery and drooling (Oh! I get it now, I’ve had drooling dogs as well) over you regardless of what you’re doing or wearing. It seems like its some competition to pick up the most girls.
But if you were talking actual talking dogs, like real dogs? I just picture “Hey! Hey! Hey! You’re HOME! I love you! I’m so HAPPY you’re HERE with ME! You wanna go for a walk? I love walks with you. You’re my favorite human ever!”
Then you’re talking an actual human guy and it’s more like, “Hey honey, is that you? Can you bring me a beer/soda/something from the fridge? Thanks, love you!”
Yeah, now I’m really wondering where the horrible habit of calling men ‘dogs’ came from.
