Denver Botanic Gardens Colorado Unusual Tiered Tree Flower colorchallenge wednesdayyellow
This interesting yellow flower also kind of looks like a tree. Each section is leaves, then a flower, and then a new tree comes out! I don't know how long the pattern can repeat.
This unusual tiered flower was in the wildflower area of the Denver Botanic Gardens I toured during my trip to Colorado in 2011. These plants are left to seed and do their thing each year as they will.
This is my entry for #colorchallenge #wednesdayyellow by @kalemandra. I was using a point and shoot camera on this trip but I do not remember the type.
