Optimizing Your Crypto Trading Experience with Cobinhood

in #cobinhood6 years ago (edited)

Since I started trading cryptocurrencies October last year, I become more conversant with the technicalities and the features of different crypto exchange platforms like Bittrex, Binance, Tidex, and Bitshares. And I must admit, most of them are quite hard to navigate because of those countless tabs I have to click which sometimes lead to confusion.

I know most people are making noises about the zero transaction fees Cobinhood offers. I was in awe about it as well since this is the very first crypto exchange offering zero transaction fees, unlike the current crypto exchanges who charge 0.25% for every transaction completed. However, what amazed me the most is the Cobinhood trading platform itself! Its trading exchange features are very simple to manage, making it more trading-friendly especially for newbies.

Now, let me focus the entirety of this post to the trading exchange features of Cobinhood:

This is the entirety of the Cobinhood exchange site once you start trading one coin to another. One thing I really liked about it is you don’t have to click different tabs just to explore other entries essential for your trading execution. The price chart, order history, trade history, order book, order form, and even the balance wallet are already sandwiched on one screen. You don’t even have to scroll the entire page down to see all of these! Personally, I was very amazed since this is the first time I encountered such trading feature.

Let’s take a closer look at the different parts:

Trading values. This is the topmost part of Cobinhood’s trading site. In the left part, you can just drag down the coins that you want to trade relative to the ones you want to acquire. In this case, it is COB versus ETH. The last trade price and the 24-hr changes in prices and volume are also emphasized.

Order Book. The developer of this site must be so genius that he was able to fuse the bid and ask prices with their graphs as the background. Spread or the price difference between the lowest ask and the highest bid is also given more emphasis. This is a very important feature especially for traders to see whether the coins they are trading have a healthy tug of war between the supply and the demand.

Order Form and Balance. More than any other crypto exchanges, Cobinhood emphasizes the importance of establishing stop-limits. This feature can be used to save yourself from further losses. Below the order form is the balance section where you could see all the cryptos that you own with the total price in USD.

Chart. Of course, it will be hard to execute trades without looking at the chart. The good thing about this charting is it already shows the exponential moving averages in a 12- day and 26-day period. The only thing I noticed is the lack of technical analysis options. Only volume, MACD, and RSI are the available options to interpret the chart. Well, this platform is still young and I guess more and more features will be added soon.

Overall, the Cobinhood’s trading features are very commendable. Compressing the essential tabs in one page will surely save more time for traders instead of navigating different tabs one by one. In trading, time is one of the most important factors that you have to beat, and I believe Cobinhood isn’t just built to eliminate trading fees, but also to optimize everyone’s trading experience.
