Currently, there are many investment vehicles that are available to us. Apparently, crowdfunding investments appear more appealing to the new investors as the return on investments on such fundings are higher than the other investments having the same time duration.

At the moment, Filipino investors are going crazy about this crowdfunding community called FarmOn.ph. Such investment program was established in 2014, where people can contribute to providing capital for farmers in raising livestock and growing crops. In return, the investors will be able to reap the rewards of profit sharing once their chosen products have been sold to the market.

At this time, FarmOn.ph’s 18th farming cycle registration is open until May 31, 2018. The realtime- farming will start on June 15, 2018.

This is a screenshot of one of the FarmOn.ph’s investors, having an overall profit of 26.62%. As you can see, the profit per product varies depending on the actual sales. I have been constantly reading news, articles, and reviews about farmon.ph, and so far, the investors in the past cycles attested that they have received satisfactory gains than just leaving their money in the banks.

For the 18th cycle, here are the available crops or livestocks open for investments with their respective duration of farming and the amount necessary per share as of April 16, 2018. The probable return on investments was also given by the farmon.ph support team.

Unfortunately, most of the products have been fully funded already, especially the ones with the least investment duration. At this time of writing, the only available crops are rice and banana, having 6-8 months and 10-14 months of investment duration respectively.

This crowdfunding investment also entails a lot of risks just like the other investment vehicles. Though the returns are not guaranteed, the fund contributors attested that they have earned 10-40% after every farming cycle of 4-14 months. • The investment capital ranges from 1,500 – 8,500 PhP (30 – 170 USD) per share.

• The total maximum investment limit for every cycle is 300,000 PhP (6,000 USD)
